Great Kit for Installing Electric Cooling Fans
The kit has everything you need for most electric fan swaps. I used it for an old truck with a worn out mechanical fan. I drilled and tapped a preformed port in the thermostat housing for the electric thermostat. The wiring diagram may seem confusing at first because it is ground switched at the thermostat.I added a second relay to switch it with the AC compressor. Now some say this kit can only run one fan, but I am running two fans. You just have to check the draw of the fans and keep it less than the breaker to ensure it doesn't trip.Works great no complains.

Works great
I put it on my triple cooling fans on my jeep so I won’t have to turn a toggle switch anymore. Simple to hook up and haven’t had any issues yet

I like this and would buy again.
Very easy to put on, came with a wiring diagram (which if you can wire a relay you don't need that)Installed on an old truck I did electric fan conversion on, I use it to kick two smallish fan and it works great.I think mine actually kicks off about 190, but that's fine otherwise it would fight my thermostat.

I've been very satisfied with this kit.
I used this same kit on a ford ranger that I converted to electric fan. It's worked perfectly so far. I decided to order this kit a second time for another truck I recently purchased.

Maybe it depends on application
I bought this kit for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee to change over from the hydraulic cooling fan to an electric fan. What I liked was that the temperature sensor (threaded style) fit perfectly in the water neck in place of the threaded plug from the factory. Unfortunately, tightening it enough so that it would stop leaking coolant caused the probe to start to deform. Edges didn't round off, but using a wrench, the body deformed, as if the heat affected it. Perhaps a 6-point socket should have been used instead of a wrench. The worst part is that I don't believe I can use thread tape on it, because I'm pretty certain that would inhibit electrical conductivity between the metal of the water neck and the probe, as I'm fairly certain that's how it works: when the temperature gets hot enough, a thermal mechanism inside allows a connection to be established between the terminal and the probe thread/housing.Anyway, so this may work for others, or again, maybe I just needed to use a socket instead of a wrench, or perhaps thread tape would work as the threads would "cut" through it enough for electrical connection, but seal the coolant in. But that's my experience with it.

One year later it's doing what it's supposed to.
I installed this on an 84 Corvette. The factory sensor turn the fan on at over 200F which can be problematic on any old car. This product turns the fan on at a realistic temp. One year in and still doing fine.
