I prefer Panasonic batteries when I buy batteries they do a superior job like the other two or three major brands and they are less expensive in comparison

I didn't know zinc carbon was a thing until I bought a table top clock that required it. What can you say about a battery? These last six months or more. When the clock starts losing time by 1-3 minutes a day, order another set. The battery will be dead within the week.

I have a clock that relies on a timing motor and specifically calls for Zinc Carbon batteries. A package of two of these will last me a couple of years. Glad that Panasonic still makes them and Amazon still sells them.
