I installed it completely today. I also purchased the bracket to mount it. I originally added a switch, but to make it work you need to add a thermostat. I used a separate one mounted on the wall. It's not plug-and-play. I originally figured I'd just run 240, 30amp, hook it up and it would. Nope. Needed to add t-stat. But now that it's up and running, I'm happy.In hindsight, I should have gotten the bigger sized unit, but it keeps my garage(25x21 R-13 walls)comfy enough to work in a flannel or long sleeve shirt (it's currently 26 outside and about 50 inside running for 30 mins. If you have a 2 car, I'd say get the biggest unit you can.

Be advised this unit does not come with any controls or on-off switch. There is also no mention as to what type of switch is needed for all the features to work properly, fan only, cool down stage, etc. The TPI YouTube video shows a round yellow, on-off switch on the lower left hand side, that switch is an additional $200, and there is no way of knowing what it even does. A thermostat is also extra, wall switch, who knows! This unit does not come fully assembled, I packed it back up, and sent it right back. Very disappointed.
