This shoe is beautiful and foot-wise fit great (size 12) However I want to make a clear warning for any wide calf baddies- this is not wide calf nor does it stretch even a little. It has a pretend stretchy part at the top that barely stretches. Does no favors. I have a 21in calf at its widest, for reference, and it was too small by about 6 inches. I also noticed that it seemed smaller around the ankle area which I almost never have an issue with for any kind of boot, I just have fat calves. I also noted that the zipper was weirdly stiff and difficult to zip even for the half of the boot that did close. Over all im sure this is a fine boot for non wide calf individuals, and I was pleased to note the larger shoe size was an accurate fit. I cannot speak to the comfort or durability because I had to return them.

NOT WIDE CALF FRIENDLY WHATSOEVER. Fit my foot just fine, but couldn't zip it past my shin. The shaft of the boot is not stretchy whatsoever. The little elastic piece is not helpful. My calves are only 17". I thought that I could zip them up while they were lower on my legs and then pull them up but they don't stretch at all. I thought okay no problem I'll wear them scrunched, no... they look stupid as h3ll. They seem like they are well built and good quality, would be comfortable and easy to walk in too. I'm so disappointed. I needed these boots to match an outfit for a party tomorrow. If you are plus size- keep looking. FALSE ADVERTISING. I submitted my return 5 minutes after these were delivered.
