I have tried several other cases for my Galaxy Note 3 because I wanted to have the option to stand my phone up and to clip it on to my waist, but the stand and clip were always so bulky and sliding it in and out of the hard case took time and made me miss a few calls. Plus the clip would get stuck on items in my purse. This case is slim, quick to open, and has a great hole for a lanyard which is nice for hiking or having quick access to the phone hanging around my neck when I want to take a quick picture on trips. The magnetic clip hold the case closed and stays out of the way when opened by bending it backward. There are slots for my cleaning cloth and others if you want to carry money and credit card in the phone. The stand works ok. It slides sometimes, but once it is situated it stays in place. I also think it is very attractive in the black and brown version. I can have a case and keep my phone slim. As far as safety, I have dropped my phone at lease five times and nothing has happened to it. There is a nice rubber rim around the phone that seems to protect it nicely and the case stays closed. I am very happy with this case. It works for me.

Shipped quickly, build quality is decently good, holds the phone in place well, very thin, magnetic snap does NOT cause problems with the phone, and the kickstand style works great. The only problem I had was my bird ate parts of it, so I am buying another, and the corner where the S pen meets is flimsy. I just cut it off where it bent, and never had a problem with the outer material failing. Also, the "note" inside is HILARIOUS "engrish"Protection wise, I've dropped the phone TONS of times. Never, EVER had a problem. Face up. Face down. Edges. Corners. The material is soft enough to absorb the hit and rigid enough to not deform into the phone. It's basically leather wrapped cardboard, and that's EXACTLY what you want.It's a terrible wallet, but I actually want that. I don't want to use it as a wallet, I want a folio case. It has slots for a few cards and a fold underneath for something, but I never put more than a business card with a note in it and I like it that way. I have a wallet, I simply wanted a total wraparound phone case.For the price, absolutely worth it. I bought this over more expensive cases because of the thin, no frills design, and it's lasted two years.

This cost ten bucks, including shipping. It fits perfectly. It folds over, providing good protection for the screen, and while it might not protect the Note if it is run over by a truck, it will probably provide good protection for 95% of the drops. Some might find that the case makes it too bulky, but even with the case, it fits into a shirt pocket. The cutouts are all in the right places. It's NOT leather but it therefore is a little smoother for taking in and out of pockets, but it still improves the grip.I was skeptical of a folio style but then discovered that it folds back, making holding the phone in the normal position no problem. The magnets not only hold it closed well, they also hold it open (folded back) well. Yeah, there are spaces for some money or business cards, credit cards or a driver's license or whatever, but you'll probably still carry a wallet (maybe just use this for business cards.) Of course, nothing works best for everyone. The only downside that some folks might find is that it is a folio in the first place and they would rather not have one. But for the price? Seriously, if you are considering a fold over case, this is a remarkable deal. And if you don't like it, you can probably trade it with someone for a sandwich or something and not come out with much of a loss.P.S. I haven't checked out the plastic screen cover yet, but even if it is total junk (which it probably isn't), the Celto is very well worth the price.P.P.S. -- ONCE AGAIN, Amazon persists in this terrible, possibly deceptive practice of lumping all the reviews of a company's products together. So many of the low ratings for example are for the case for the Galaxy S4, which creates confusion for readers who may be able to sort it out, of course, but it becomes a waste of time and very, very, very, very annoying. Again, a 12 year old using a database program from the 1980's could sort out the reviews and post them appropriately, but one of the biggest internet companies in the world would either rather not bother, or, worse, is just trying to hype up their reviews by making it appear that more folks are reviewing than is really the case, since the large number of reviews are repeated under each different product.

There are drawbacks that are inherent to the device and the case itself.I'll give the pros first:- case looks stylish, short of awesome;- nice finish, looks durable.- does protect the phone (although I haven't dropped them);- grabs the phone through a silicon sleeve: not adhesive, does not replace back cover.- closes with magnets (no velcro ripping noises);- good price for the purpose;Cons:- the closing flap gets in the way of the power button - however I blame partially on Samsumg for the odd positioning.- the closing flap which makes the case "nice to see", is also too big;- the cut to pull the stylus out is too small; its corner will bend out and should be removed;- closes with magnets: no velcro ripping noises but you pay the price: it disrupts the magnetometer so apps that rely on the compass will be skewed; astronomy apps will behave odd: the image jumps or shakes.. I wish I had foreseen this before (totally forgot).Some people who said the closing magnet affects the stylus are mistaken: the issue is with the magnetometer/compass.I am not sure if I would like an opening on the case to see the clock without opening the case, but again, the closing flap gets in the way of the power button.I recommend only if you don't care for the compass, but again, it might be too early for you to decide.

Was a bit hesitant buying this cover as it looks bulky. Turned out OK except the bill is meant for USD not GBP

Very disappointing material. Feels very cheap.-It has 3 magnets in it in 3 different parts. Did the creators forget this is intended to hold credit cards? I think I will be cutting the magnets out and putting velcro or something.-screen protector is terrible. Don't even bother trying to put it on. Go to a store and get a good one and have a professional put it on.-CASH DOESNT FIT! I live in Canada and our bills DO NOT fit. The only way to get them in there is to fold them. The bills are just 1cm too big.
