These are an expensive fake but I'm keeping them anyway
I owned 2 pairs of the real ones for 8+ years and I wanted a relatively inexpensive 3rd pair and decided to give them a try. I would like to know what their definition of authentic is. An authentic pair of sunglasses that shield you from the sun? Yes and that's it. The material isn't great. Feels cheap. Not sure how long they will last. It comes with what feels like an authentic Tom Ford hard case. But any hard case is essential for the longevity of your shades. If you judge only go by the look of them on your face you will not be disappointed. The style is very much Tom Ford and that's why I am keeping them. But don't hand them off to someone or they will know that they're not worth more than $10 at the gas station. I purchased these for $188 on May 2021 and since their delivery they've gone up $160. Would I buy them now?? No! The real ones cost $400 and you can say with confidence that they're real.

Beautiful and solidly constructed, but not polarized
I purchased the Rhodium/blue tinted version of these TF 144s, popularized by Daniel Craig in the James Bond movies "Quantum of Solace" and "Skyfall". I had some doubts about the authenticity of the item, but Sunglass Express shipped these quickly via Prime, and with all Tom Ford branded accessories included. Additionally, Tom Ford identification was etched into the arms. A far better deal than ordering direct from Tom Ford.Construction was solid, and these TF 144s are much sturdier than my Ray Ban Aviators. The TF144s are known for being narrow; they fit more snugly than my RB Aviators, but not to the point of being too tight. I would say the fit was perfect and sat evenly on my nose bridge. If you notice in press pictures, the TF 144s are a touch too small for Mr. Craig. The biggest drawback of the TF144s is their lack of polarization. Note that a lack of polarization does NOT mean these particular TF144s are not authentic; if you check the Tom Ford manufacturer's website, the TF144s advertised there also lack polarization. While the lack of polarization has the advantage of enabling viewing of cell phones and other LCD displays, it also causes considerable eye strain on a sunny day.I hope Tom Ford releases a polarized version of the Rhodium TF144s in the future.

Glass color different upon wear
At no fault of the supplier these glasses were a bit different then expected. I am a huge James Bond fan and I am also a bit of a sunglasses snob. I ordered these thinking that the lenses would remain a distinct blue upon wearing them. When worn, under most lighting conditions these glasses seem pink. As this is my first pair of Tom Ford glasses I am willing to believe this is an actual feature of the glasses as they are not polarized. In the movies when worn by Bond they appeared blue but not for me. I love the fit and feel of the glasses, I'm just a little put off as I was thinking they would appear as blue and not pink when worn. No issue with seller in the least, just some misnomers about the end product.

Plastic, not Glass
These are a quality built frame, but I was very disappointed that the lenses are plastic. For this kind of money I expect glass. Still, a nice pair of 'glasses'. The blue is different and isn't very dark in full sun on a clear day. Great for partly cloudy or grey days. I reach for the Persol's or Serengeti's for full-sun.The frame is one of the most comfortable I've ever worn. It beats the Persol's, Serengeti's, and Ray-Ban's hands down in this category. I wish they could all be this comfortable. These are nice glasses and of course the latest 'Bond' glasses from the last movie, but if you're like me and want glass in the frames, look elsewhere because these ain't got it.

Just got them. Look good but they are all plastic
There are a lot of people who have said these are fake. I'm not sure if they are or aren't but the packaging looks legit. The glasses looks good but, if they are real, are pretty disappointing from a material perspective. If they are fake, they are very well done fakes. If I get around to it, I will take them to a Tom Ford store to get authenticated.

Smaller than expected
They were too small for my face. Did not fit well

One of the best glasses I own
Great quality, great feel, very comfortable. The only thing is they look less blue in real life. Not saying that's a bad thing, just putting it out there.
