Great as a grab bar
I bought this for use as a grab bar at the entry to our (sunken) living room. It's unfinished, but it looks good. The brass screws that came with it protruded only about a half-inch from the base of the bar, not enough to go through the dry wall and into the underlying stud, so I got a couple of longer screws from the hardware store. It came with wood plugs to fill the screw holes after installation.I was a little worried that this "towel bar' would not be rugged enough to use as a grab bar, but it is a very strong single piece of wood. If the screws don't pull out of the wall, you could probably do pull-ups on it.

Simple but versatile
Acutally used these as handles for a custom door that i built. Applied some stain to them, and it was seamless to my project.

Easy to install teak handrail
I use these for two different sets of stairs outside my house. They are very sturdy and are smooth to the touch, and nice to grasp. I got them as an inexpensive handrail and it worked out well for me. I like these better than usual outdoor handrails and they are very sturdy when screwed into wood siding.

Sturdy and versatile
Actually using this item as a grab handle for my mother so she can have something to grab when she reaches the top of the stairs. It works very well in this application.

Great replacement for RV grab rail.
Bought this to replace a wooden grab rail by the steps in our RV. Turned out to be a perfect fit and seems much sturdier than the original.
