Wheat Bag Original Rectangle Microwave Heat Pack and Ice Pack (Fleece Fabric - Navy Blue with Lavender)

Great wheat bags, the compartments are a good solution as usually in wheaty bags the grains fall to either both sides or to one or other side. This permits equal warm right along the wheaty bag. I have used these for warming my bed, soothing achy spots about the body. I have shared with folk around my neighbourhood. A veritable 'wheaty bag brigade'!

Needs a bit more time in the microwave than recommended but overall does the trick

Really Impressed. Keeps it's heat well, and has a lovely weight to it. Great to know it's British made too.

Replaced an old Wheat Bag with this one. Although this feels as though there is less 'wheat' in it to my old one, I like the 3 compartments as if used vertically it stops the contents all moving to one end.I stated by heating for 1min 30Secs as we have a powerful Microwave and I did not want to burn the wheat. It heated nicely but was not that hot, second time I added another 10secs and finally reckon 1min 50 secs for our Microwave.I have not actually timed how long it stays hot for as I am happy with it, as I use it when my lower back aches (usually after too much gardening!).The first two or three uses it did feel damp when taken out of the microwave, but that has since stopped and there was also an odour which has gone. I did not notice any lavender fragrance, but then my sense of smell is not what it was, but I did not buy it for how it smells!I went for the Fleece finish and like the snuggly feeling of the fleece when using it.
