I was happy to find the hat securely packed in a sturdy box, so it was in good shape. The hat is pliable enough to "train" the brim to fit your style. (which I do every time I put it on :) I'll definitely check out San Diego Hat Company's selection the next time I need a hat.

No the best made but just what I was looking for. Throw it in my storage compartment on a See Doo. It has been smash and twisted but still holding up.

Got this for my 20 year old son, he's wanted one forever - this is a very nice quality hat, looks great, fits perfectly. Good purchase!

Fits slightly large on my big head but then that's good because it doesn't give me a headache. Absolutely cuts the sun. I will see about durability this summer. I mow a lot of lawns and usually wear out a couple hats each summer. Good looking hat.July 2021, update. Came back to buy another. Paid $27 last year now they want $45. That's a BIG PASS.

For this amount of money the product isn't very good material .I'm lucky if it last a couple of weeks in the sun .

This hat came fully smashed down, straw bits broken, in a plastic shipping bag, not a box as one would expect with a fragile straw hat.The photo is being kind. This is after I tried it on. It was destroyed and I was disappointed —but not as disappointed if the thing actually had fit my head.Having a big head (23.2 inches around) it is a struggle to find a hat big enough for my noggin and also one that provides enough sun protection.I was hopeful when I saw this came in a L/XL option. But it is too small.Weird and disappointing experience.
