My sensory challenged boy loves this toy. However, one of his issues is that he becomes aggressive when overstimulated. He gets anxious and overwhelmed when in a classroom or closed space Playing stretchy with these noodles keeps him involved and, in some way centered. However, I did need to cut them in half because he was using it to fling around like a sword and smack objects that were in his path. No person, except for myself, was in his path at the time but I knew that would eventually happen. My son is only two years old and has not yet learned to self-regulate his emotions so he needs extra help bringing him down when he is anxious.

Update: These things have been amazing and sturdy. My daughter has even bitten them multiple times and they are still going strong!Original Review: The package arrived covered in odd crumbs and saw dust, and the noodles look like they are going to peel and break apart at any minute. Not sure how well they will hold up, but they are a good, satisfying, and quiet fidget tool. Likely won't purchase this brand again.

~Update: It's been a year, we still have 4 new in the package. We've lost a few, but they are still holding up. We have cut the purple one he managed to cut his teeth through. The rest are still intact, the purple one is still safe to play with. I just perfer to be safe, which is the reason I cut it. I know to bring a couple, if they hit the ground they do get dirty. Clean it when I get home. It's been over 1 year! We haven't had to restock our supply. I'd say that's worth the money. This is a great sensory tool! Thank you Purple Lady Bug. Maybe you guys can design a holder for the noodles or make a ringed noodle for around your wrist? To keep safe while using both hands, that would be awesome!~Before buying this product, I bought the purple lady bug variety pack. It came with an assortment of different items made by them. My son who is 5, who was diagnosed with high functioning autism/Aspergers has major sensory needs. He chews and needs to move his hands. This product says to not swallow on the warning label. When we received our first stretchy noodle he was attached right away. I was pleased to find this pack with just them. They are very stretchy, he also chews them which I wash them nightly and check for any major damage. If you stretch them a bit you can see if they have any real damage. He still has his baby teeth and a pretty strong jaw, so far all 5 he uses, on a regular are still intact. I'm happy I found these. He was chewing his chew necklaces to pieces almost every week. We have used many different types that were just to solid, not chewy enough. He can put this in his mouth and pull at the same time. None have broken to pieces. I know it says to not injest. But this little boy will chew anything that seems chewy enough from legos to straws. This has been our go to to satisfy his needs and he isn't looking for something random to chew on while he has one in his hand.

I have a small grandson with autism; he's my sweetheart, and he's rather hard to buy gifts for. These "stretchy strings" are recommended for children like him, so I decided "Santa" will be leaving them under the tree. Now the package has arrived. And while it hasn't been opened yet, nor the strings played with, I just want to say that they are beautifully packaged. The colors are every bit as vibrant as they look in the pictures, and the way they look through the clear box top is very tempting! What he likes and doesn't like is hard to predict, but I have a feeling these will be a success. If they aren't, it won't be an indictment against the product itself... I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Thank you :)

I bought this based mostly on the reviews which are great for some reason. I feel pretty stupid for buying this. After a couple minutes, you realize you are playing with effectively a large rubber band. I guess this would entertain either a young child or an adult on the spectrum. Don’t waste your money. Buy a yo-yo or puzzle instead.

If they touch the ground they get instant dust, crumbs, hairs stuck on them. My kids just like to swing them around dangerously. Definitely not a good idea for my kids.

I'm really surprised at all the great reviews after purchasing two packages I feel like a fool. The kids played with this for 2 minutes and wanted to know what they do ? Nothing but stretch what is the purpose of this ? They are useless waste of money and I was embarrassed I gave these as a grab bag holiday item for the school .

Was excited for this item.But was quickly disappointedAlot of customer reviews said it didn't attract lint. But mine sure did was icky fairly quick.Not to mention they didn't entertain my toddlers at all. I think they were more fun to throw on the floor then actually play with.They have a good stretch seem to tear quick my kids barely use them and a few have already ripped not sure from air exposer or what. They lost the new sheen look overnight and looked dusty and old. Overall un apealing.I don't want to give 1 star simply because my kids didn't like them.They do what they're supposed to stretch and potentially entertain.But with the few flaws +boring I'll leave it at a 3

Buscaba un juguete antiestrés que no fuera una pelota o slime y este va muy bien. Se manipula con los dedos, es muy elástico y por ahora no se ha roto. No desprende olor a productos quimicos. Los colores son muy vivos. Estos fideos sirven para niños y adultos que presentan un cuadro nervioso y que encuentran alivio en la manipulación de materiales elásticos. Aunque me parecen caros para lo que son, recomiendo estos fideos antiestrés.

Acquistati per una bambina con problemi di autismo, quindi nonostante lo stress che possono subire la prima cosa che mi viene da dire è che sono molto resistenti! Coloratissimi, non puzzano, ben fatti tutto sommato! Ci vuole molta inventiva per giocarci, anche per chi problemi non ne ha, forse possono essere usati al meglio sotto consiglio di terapisti o supervisori.

Non mi sono piaciuti. Aspettavo di più. Ho comprato per segnalare i vestiti di mia figlia e anche calzini di mio marito e figlio. Ho fatto fatica per vedere qualcosa. Secondo me manca anche il colore bianco
