Star in the Storm (Aladdin Historical Fiction)

This is a child’s book, and I am an old woman. This is a beautifully told story filled with the seasoning of the area and the language of the people. I know for a fact a Newfoundland dog is an amazing creature. I have owned three in my lifetime. My precious boy, Able, was my dearest friend, he spoke with his eyes and was such a blessing to me. The story brought out the very essence of what a Newf is. I applaud the author.

This is a great book ! It is sad at the end but so amazing. There is loving family and friends! I do recommend this book!

Great book and story. Some words are hard for a fourth graders but it was a good book. My daughter love it

I bought these books for my grandson, but decided to read them first myself. They were so good I gave them to my parents and sister to read before giving them to a 5th grader! Great story,
