MICTUNINGLED Light Bar Wiring Harness Off Road Power 40A Relay Fuse ON-Off Switch (2 Lead)

This wiring harness is plug and play easy. I wired up some LED lights to my vehicle and initially bought the wrong wiring until finding the MicTuning MIC-B1001 2 lead. This harness was easy to install and works like a charm. This is my full review of the different components.APPEARANCEThe harness itself looks very neatly packed in the box, has a protective sleeve around the majority of the wires, and has no apparent kinks, tears, or broken parts. Everything looks pretty sturdy. The only thing that bothered me was some of the non-sleeved wiring around the fuse and relay, which I had wrapped in electrical tape when done with the installation. Easy fix for peace of mind. I also wrapped all of my connections between the lights and harness.FUNCTIONALITYThe harness works very well. The kit has male end adapters for the red an black wires on the lights and sleeves for both connections. As soon as I connected all of my wiring to my lights and battery they came right on. The relay has a hole for mounting onto the wall of the engine compartment. Basically anywhere convenient. Only drawback is there is not a lot of wiring from the relay to the positive/negative terminal on the battery so it was slightly a pain to find the perfect spot for it. I managed to squeeze it in just under the hood bumper and was lucky enough to find a random self tapping screw laying around to secure it with.THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO HAVE HANDY*Electrical tape for any wiring you feel is exposed, or shrink wrap.*Self-cutting zip ties, these things are awesome and super easy with none of the sharp edges you normally get if your cut isn't flush. These are handy for securing the harness to the grill/frame/etc...FEEDBACK FOR IMPROVEMENTLonger wiring for the relay wires to the battery. All in all the delivery was timely and it does what it is advertised to do. Great harness for a great price.

I recently wired my F-150 to have a light bar on the front so I can see further. I installed a 9000lm light bar so when traveling I can see objects sooner rather than later. I used this switch to turn it on and off and it has worked very well since 2020 trip to Arizona. I will tell you that there are areas along I-40 that are really dark and this light really helped and this switch has 2 leds under the button. 1 is RED for off and GREEN for on. This is my 8th set, I have used them for other applications even on my boat. I have not had any problems/issues with them in wet weather both on my boat and Quad Runner. Obviously I will buy these again.

Used this to wire some LED aux lights on my CRF230L. Very standard, simple design, good quality, and easy to install. More than enough length of everything for a dirtbike; can't speak for cars/trucks. I wired it directly to the battery, so the on/off switch has a red LED indicating "off" whenever the bike is off. I doubt it will be an issue as far as draining the battery goes besides long term storage, in which case it'll be on a tender and/or I'll just unplug the switch from the circuit.The mounting tape for the switch didn't hold long (about 20 minutes), at least on a dirtbike that's ridden exclusively off road. Use any foam mounting tape you have to remedy this issue. Still 5 stars.

I am thoroughly impressed by this switch. It is by far one of the best Switch Harness I have EVER seen.The build is great, the wires and the sheath are amazing and the switch, although it feels a little cheap, can stand up to the abuse.The relay is already wired into the harness. All that you need to do is plug it on your battery or wherever you needed and plug the lighting or accessory and turn on.By far, the best wiring harness I have ever bough.Only downside, and why I'm knocking off one star, is that the wire from the switch to the harness is a little short. And as far as I'm concerned they dont make an extension (Which they should) The wire was about 2 feet short of where I need it to be so the switch is just hanging. I really do wish it would of been longer.Over all though great harness, if not the best one I have ever seen.Would definitely buy again.

Hooked up to my 250 so i wouldn’t explode my led bulb, was easy to hook up and there was even a perfect spot for the relay under the left rear fender

Pay Attention to the Load - The descriptions highlights 180W, but maximum fuse included is 7.5A. The load side of the unit is 18 awg wire, which would not be suitable for 180W. Nice unit and of good construction, just be aware of the wire gauge you might need for the load and the length (voltage drop)

I absolutely loved this harness! it is everything I needed it to be plus the pre wired lighted switch. I was able to hook it up my self with very little effort and no frustration! I actually used two of them because I put 4 7.5 inch led light bars onto the HI way bars on my Harley. This way I can use two lights or all 4 for the dark country roads. The only thing that could have made this harness better was if it was shorter for a motorbike application. I recommend this product to every one who needs to hook up lights because it is so easy and the harness is completely encased in a pvc. sleeve that gives it such a nice professional look. great job Mistuning!!!!

Awesome. Use it on my ATV which is submerged in water and mud quite a bit and so far no problems.

It works great and looks to be pretty good quality, except for the push-button switch, which I think is not waterproof.
