Allsop Mouse PAD XL - Raindrop Blue Bulk, Color Design 26, Mouse Pad 9"*7.5", (28766)

Received this mouse pad today, so this is an early review... but this is simply an excellent XL mouse pad. Slight "new mouse pad" smell, just like every other mouse pad I've ever owned... would be the only thing I could possibly gripe about (I don't mind it at all, but just mentioning it). Beyond that, it is thick, comfy, offers "good resistance" which I am used to in a cloth surfaced pad, lays flat (no crease from shipping although it did ship loosely rolled in half), stays put well, and takes up the space equal to that of 4 regular mouse pads that I have. Aesthetically not too shabby either. If this holds up well, which I believe it will, I just can't imagine a better XL pad.

There's nothing to complain about regarding this mousepad. In case you didn't use a ruler to figure out the size, this thing is HUGE - it's longer vertically than my forearm - it's soft, sturdy, pretty. It does what a (very oversized) mousepad should do.

I have had this mousepad for a few weeks now and it is starting to de-laminate around where my wrist rests on the edge of it already. I was hoping to get longer lasting performance out of it. I love the size and the color though, matches my set up perfect!

the ad lies. It is NOT AN XL mouse pad. it is a tiny mousepad.

- Good size, well suited for low sensitivity gaming, but not so large that you need a giant desk to use it.- Surface is more on the smooth side, but it still has good stopping power. Surface is very uniform and comfortable to rest your hand on.- Raindrop design is much more pleasant on the eyes than any of the gaming brand mouse pads, which are usually just a boring black. I have not had any problems with tracking due to the design.This is my go-to recommendation for friends. This mouse pad is cheap, but performs just as well, and sometimes better than gaming branded ones. I've actually started using it over my Puretrak Talent. The mice I use with it are the Logitech g400s and the Zowie EC2 eVo. Most of my gaming is Tribes Ascend. I've heard that this mouse pad is an exception in the Allsop mouse pad lineup, so if you look at other Allsop mouse pads, I can't say that all of their mouse pads will be of this quality. That is only what I have heard from a guy who has done all too much research on mice and mouse pad combinations.

I just received this yesterday. i am a gamer and i used for the last day. it is so large and excellent for fps if you use a low senstivity. It is extremely comfortable to use and is beautifully designed. I recomend this to anyone who wants a nice large mouse pad. My old cheap mouse pad from walmart caused my mouse to skip because of s***ty material. This material is great for people who need as little mouse pad error as possible. I love this product!!

My choices for ordering were 8.7"x 7" or 9" x 7" and I selected the 9x7. The product reviews are great, and the mouse pad works well, is nice and thick, lays nicely, etc. Smells terribly right now of rubber, but I assume that will dissipate after a couple of weeks. HOWEVER, the mouse pad I got was 13 x 15.5! Rather large for my keyboard tray but I'm going to make it work because returning things is a pain, even with Amazon. So when I check out the description of the item lower down on the page, below 'customers also bought...' and 'sponsored products related to this item' and 'special offers and product promotions'.... well, there I find the description is for a 13" x 15.5" mouse pad. Silly me.

Wore out after 6 months of use or so, and there is a lot more drag in the center of the pad now. The static friction makes it hard to make small adjustments to your aim, especially in the worn out sections of the pad. Not bad for the price, but if you are a low sensitivity gamer you will probably want to replace these every 4 months or so.
