Got this game as a gift for my brother in law. I myself have the game as well and so does every single one of my brothers. We absolutely love catan and it’s such a fun board game to play with your friends and family. You need at least 3 players to play. The game itself is made very well. The artwork is very nice and helps you get immersed into the role playing of the game. Instructions are easy to learn and follow. Game speed is moderate. Not too little and less than playing monopoly. If you haven’t tried it you should! You won’t regret it

Best game ever for adults and young. We love playing it with the family. Since the setup is always different, each time we play the game is different. We also have the extension that allows for up to 6 persons. We love it.

Great board game It might seem expensive but it is very nice for the price you are paying. With wood and cardboard pieces I think this board game is very good. It has highly replayable. But unfortunately it is not that easy to learn and It takes quite a while to finish one game. The art looks great on the cardboard and the box

Also, it works best if everyone playing enjoys strategy games to at least some degree—people looking for pure luck or very fast gameplay may not connect with it as much. Bottom line: This absolutely earned its reputation as a modern board game classic. It’s engaging, replayable, and creates a fun social experience that works especially well for family game nights or small groups of friends. Definitely one I can see staying in regular rotation.

It was delivered literally as you see it. They put the board game outside the door just like this and put the shipping sticker on the box itself, defined didnt peel off clean and tore off some of the box artwork. Game itself was fire and super cool and fun.

I finally pulled the trigger on the new 6th Edition (the 2025 refresh), and honestly? If you’re a new player or someone still rocking a beat-up copy from ten years ago, this is the version to get. What’s actually "New" in the 6th Edition? The biggest win for me isn’t the gameplay (it’s still the same "wood for sheep" chaos we love), but the quality of life updates. • The Card Trays: This sounds like a small thing, but 6th Ed. finally includes built-in card holders. No more messy piles of resource cards sliding across the table or blowing away if someone breathes too hard. • Component Size: The roads and settlements feel slightly "chunkier" and more substantial in your hand compared to the older versions. • The Rulebook: If you’re a beginner, the new manual is way less intimidating. It’s laid out more like a "walkthrough" than a legal document. They also changed some terms—"Lumber" is now just "Wood" and "Grain" is "Wheat," which is what everyone called them anyway. • The Art: The hexes have a more "natural" look now. It’s a bit more vibrant and modern without losing that classic Catan vibe. A quick heads-up for veterans: If you’re planning on mixing this with your old 5th edition expansions (like Seafarers), the card backs have been slightly redesigned. It doesn’t break the game, but you might notice the difference in the deck. Also, the box is a bit bigger now to fit everything better, which is great for organization but a squeeze on my already full board game shelf. Bottom line: If you’ve never played, start here. It’s the definitive version of the "gateway" board game. If you’re an old-timer looking to refresh your set, the card trays and component upgrades make the 6th Edition worth the swap. the game is super addicting and really great for the whole family. the instructions are clear so it only took one or two plays to fully understand what to do. we even added our own spin on it for more fun. now the package it came as was just the board game no amazon box which mostly caused damage to the exterior, and s sticker residue that completely tore the top of the board game box. but other than that the game is great.
