NUTRIUPS 4.7 Quart Large Glass Mixing Bowl with Lid, Deep Big Glass Bowl Large Glas Salad Bowl

As I am trying to rid my kitchen of plastic, I purchased this bowl mostly to use for salads. The bowl came very well packaged and meets my needs perfectly. The bowl is made from a nice quality thick glass and the size is just right. Of course, the bowl is heavier than my old plastic salad bowl, but that is a trade-off in getting rid of plastic. I don't really care about the included lid, which seems to be fine.

Love this bowl for it's size and shape. I thought at first that it would be a bit taller from counter to top, but it makes up for that in it's width and the depth that it has. It cleans up very well after use with all the oils and sauces used for completing a dish. 1000 times better than the plastic type bowl that I've used for years to mix recipes in. I knew that I had to venture out and find something better when I noticed that the "old" plastic bowl wasn't releasing oils and sauces even with hot water and the rubber scrubber, I had to do the white paper towel test and was always shocked that it wasn't clean. BUT NOT with this clearly more functional and well-made crystal bowl. I like that it's weighty, but I have to be very careful that my hands are grasping it well, because I'm tiny and the bowl demands to be handled with a firm grip. This NEW bowl looks GREAT and the top was a little difficult to fit to close, but I decided that I would put them together in some hot soapy water and let them sit with the bowl upside down and the top attached as closed as I could get it and waited a while (like 20 minutes or so) and then tested out the fit after using the bowl to mix my dish and after washing it; I then realized when it was time to put the bowl into the cabinet that the TOP needed only a little tight firm snap to fit onto the bowl. The key was to start sealing it from the side of the bowl against my body and moving my hands forward until I got to the area that did not smoothly close down. Now I will see how difficult it will be to OPEN, now that I have it closed. I am very happy that I made the decision to go ahead and purchase this NEW BOWL. It's a thick bowl and looks like it will last a long times if it never hits the floor. I think it was a fair price that I paid for it and I'm glad I decided to purchase it with the top, after reading that it was difficult to fit closed from other commenters.

Exactly as pictured. Really great size and the lid is fantastic for when you’re making food (or cookies in my case!) and need to refrigerate.

This bowl is a great size and very sturdy. It is exactly what I was looking for to make my sourdough bread in.

This product was packaged nicely and delivered swiftly. I absolutely love the size of this glass bowl. The thickness of the glass is impressive. I have no concerns about it breaking or cracking. It is a good value for the money. I purchased the clear glass color. I also appreciate the lid and bowl are constructed to prevent leaking. The only downside is the lid fits so tightly it's incredibly challenging able-bodied persons to remove. So, if you are purchasing on behalf of anyone with gripping issues with hands or fingers, or weakness impacting their arms, this may not be the best design.

Very happy with the purchase the bowl is well made, but not too heavy but a solid cover that fits perfectly. I’d buy it again.

The glass bowl is really nice. VERY large, which is what I needed. The ONLY issue is the lid. It does not fit correctly like other reviewers have said. I use it mostly for mixing, so I'm good, but it still should fit on the bowl.

I bought this bowl to make my sourdough bread in. It’s perfect! I love that it is clear, with a top, so I can see the fermentation as it happens.
