well, not really - but fans of hybrids know what I mean! I already had a 3 and 4 hybrid (20 and 23 degree) from other manufacturers in my bag, so for the price, heck - decided to try this Lazarus 6 hybrid - 27 degree. For less than $40 it is sure worth a try and has worked out well initially. I bought it to fill the gap on approach shots between my 4 hybrid - which is my favorite club, and my 7 iron - which is my second favorite club. The Lazarus 6 hybrid has put me on the green in regulation several times so far, and close to the green several more. The Lazarus name is not a "big" brand name, but - I am a 16 handicap, so I am not holding my breath waiting for a Callaway endorsement deal - AND - the guys in my league almost NEVER ask what kind of club did you use? they just watch the shot to see who will be putting - so, why pay more? One note - the face of this club appears to be slightly convex, I think it may be an optical illusion, but when I address the ball, I always focus like a laser when hitting this club to make sure I am making contact EXACTLY in the middle of the club face, which is a good thing, and have not had trouble hitting 'em straight. A guy in my league remarked the other night after seeing me hit a few shots with the Lazarus 6 "I wish I could always hit my approach straight like that!" My reply? "I wish I could too!" - but this club has helped my game.

I am a senior golfer who has played golf for 54 years and I can honestly say the Lazarus set of hybrids I bought two through nine and PW all the best clubs I believe I’ve ever hit off the tee are in the fairways! I got my new clothes two weeks ago, and I can honestly say the feel is awesome of the tea or from the fairway and I have never hit T-shirts or Fairway shots with hybrids are fairway woods that go as straight and true as the shots I’ve hit with these new Lazarus hybrids! I have no doubt it as I get more comfortable and learn the distance that I can hit each club that I will be shooting even lower scores! I believe this is the best value for the money I’ve ever spent in purchasing golf clubs than I have ever gotten over the years!

I normally do not give 5 star ratings for an Amazon listed product. However, I did for Lazrus hybrid(s). I purchased the 5 hybrid awhile back and decided to use it as a replacement for my 5 iron. It worked so well I decided to buy the 6 and 7. I was so happy with the results, I just bought the 8. These hybrids work just as well as the name brand that cost much more. If you are like me and have played for awhile but do not practice anymore and only get out once every few weeks, these are a perfect alternative for those expensive irons. You will hit them one club farther than an iron so you don't have to swing as hard to get your desired distance. Hybrids do not easily dig into the turf and you can get thru rough and uneven lies better than an iron. These are inexpensive and I suggest that you purchase the 6 or 7 first if you are thinking on replacing irons like I did. I now have 5-8 Lazrus hybrid and now only carry a 9, pw, and sw iron. I am selling my Callaway's

Exceptional value. I was able to purchase “3”Lazarus clubs for what I would have spent one name brand club! And the clubs performance is great.

Have only used once on the course and once at the range. I am retired and play 3 times a week. Wanted to try a 2 hybrid and this popped up while looking. I have a XXIO driver and this right next to it, lol. This will stay in the bag. I'm replacing my 3 wood with it. The shaft is different. Feels more similar to my steel shaft irons than the older cobra hybrids I carry. The length is right between the 3 wood and about an inch longer than the 3 hybrid. My distance appears to be about 10 to 15 yards longer than my 3 hybrid. Sound is solid. The looks of the club is fine. I hope the paint stays on better than a cheap putter I purchased once. If this holds together I will purchase a couple more in the future.

I have been thoroughly impressed with this club. I bought the 4 hybrid at the beginning of the season to close the gap between my 5 wood and 5 hybrid. When I hit this solid, it flies and keeps on going. It has great launch and forgiveness. I hit the 4 hybrid with 21 degrees of loft about 210-220. Solid club. If I had to be picky, it is slight heavier than my Cobra LTDX 5 hybrid, but I don’t mind that. Others might. 5 stars from me.

They do not feel like a quality club.

I purchased the 5,7,9 they are exactly what they said and easy to hit I used Amazon because going direct the shipping cost was very high so the best price was Amazon and they look after there packages
