I am writing this review so others know that this tool is amazing. I have been getting my nails done for 17 years and I never would expect a $40 tool like this would be salon quality, but it is. I bought this because I started doing gel polish at home and wanted something to help take off the gel polish faster than a regular nail file. Just the "fine" bit on the slow setting started taking off the polish. I love this tool and highly recommend it to anyone who does their nails at home. I may even start doing the acrylic at home just because this tool works that well.

I am a licensed nail technician. I ordered this e-file because my previous e-file died on me and I needed something inexpensive but durable to cover my services until my new one came in. That said, I LOVE this e-file so far and have yet to order a new one. It is light weight, quiet, and there is no vibration. The adjustable speed and easy entry for the bits is awesome. I personally use this e-file during my acrylic sets and it handles very well. *Note I did not and do not use the bits that were included. My bits are designed for smoothing the acrylic and softening lines after application. Overall I highly recommend!

This arrirved at my home REALLY quickly, and very well packaged. I previously used a battery-run power file/drill, and this new Kedsum file is far superior...I'm fact, I just LOVE IT!I love the way you can slowly adjust the speed from the very lowest to the very highest as opposed to just having a high, medium and low speed. I also like that I don't have to worry about batteries running low, because it needs to be plugged in to use. The info did say it is rechargable, and it is NOT, but I do not consider this a negative, because I would rather just plug it in and not have to worry about it.Also love the extra drill bits that come with it, and that they are easily inserted by hand with no additional tool needed for that.I researched electric nail files for several hours before ordering this, and it has exceeded my expectations in all regards!The price was also extremely reasonable. I have to admit that I was skeptical about ordering this nail drill at first espically after reading all the mixed reviews, but I decided that for the price it was at least worth a shot. I'm so happy with my purchase! I received exactly what was shown in the photos (The drill itself, The power cord, 2 clear boxes with different bits/attachments, and an instruction sheet) I have used the drill on my natural nail and also on acrylics and it worked amazingly for both! If your going to use this drill on your natural nail make sure you have the drill speed turned all the way down. I made the mistake of trying it with the speed turned all the way up and it did burn a little but with it turned down all the way or even on a medium speed it worked great for my natural nail! I then proceeded to apply a full set of acrylic nails on myself and I used the drill and it worked flawlessly! I am not a professional nail tech just someone who enjoys doing their own nails. All in all I have to admit I'm extremely impressed with this nail drill! I definitely would recommend it to anyone professional or otherwise as it's a great product! With that being said I do have one complaint. The power cord is way to short. I have an outlet right behind the chair that I was sitting in and the chair was pushed all the way against the wall and the drill just barley reached my nails I ended up having to turn and sit awkwardly. Needless to say that's a very simple fix. So it looks like I'm going out to purchase an extension cord tomorrow and then I'll be all set! Also as a side note they shipped this to me really fast. From the day that I placed my order to the day that I received my order was less than a week!

I'm a Cosmetologist who went from working a resort spa with natural nails, to a nail spa with acrylics and dip powder. I completely understand that this isn't for that purpose, but I got it to practice with in my free time and at home. I found the cord really short and hard to work with when you need to twist and turn. The speed and reversal switch is on the cord as well, which I found convenient. It had went out on me a couple of times, but all I had to do was unplug it and try it again. I never did any heavy work with it, but when I'm learning I'm sure it was on for 5 mins or so at a time. So no it is not at all practical for professional work. I did find it TOO powerful for learning as well and did damage my own nails with it extremely easily. I've only used it a couple of times and since its only sat at my station collecting dust and I've been using others. I was so busy with work that I missed the return date so I haven't contacted the seller. I would consider using it for pedicures since it is so powerful BUT the cord would be too short and I don't see that being feasible. Maybe I can have my boyfriend rig it so I can use it a portable one.

It is a nice powerful drill, especially for the price!! Very quiet and easy to operate and changing the bits is a breeze.The seller was conscientious of their service. I am completely satisfied with the transaction.My only complaints are that the cord is pretty short, and the drill its self is on the heavy side. However these are not enough of an issue to deter me from using or recommending this item!

The tool stopped working after I used it on only 6 clients.
