The media could not be loaded. This kit comes with all the tools and snaps to get started today. There are 24 different colors of snaps in this nice plastic box with a nap lid. There's also a bag to hold the punch gun, extra pieces for the gun, a pen/marker to mark the spot on your material for the snap, another tool to help put a whole in the material, and a mini screwdriver. The instructions are pretty good but you need two pieces for the bottom snap and then two more pieces for the top snap. So four total pieces to make a little wallet or bad that snaps closed.

Really glad I purchased this kit. I bought it so I could put some snaps on the baby bibs that I was making. The kit has an excellent color selection of snaps and plenty of each color.The snaps are well made and hold on to the fabric tightly. I like that they are plastic because there is no chance for rusting or having paint chip off. The quality is good even though they are light weight.Perhaps the best part of the kit is that amazing fastening tool! I was having a lot of problems with my thumbs and wasn't sure that I could squeeze it hard enough to install the snaps, but it turns out that you just barely have to squeeze it at all. Seriously, less pressure is better! I deformed a snap or two while figuring it out because I was pushing too hard. I chose the color I thought I would use the least and fastened them to some scrap fabric to get a feel for it.Like other reviewers, after I got the hang of it I started looking for other items that could use a snap. I put together a porch swing cushion cover that now can be removed for washing. I even made a thread catcher basket and pincushion that can now be detatched for emptying.My daughter in law who received the bibs I made for our little granddaughter thought the snaps added a nice touch. We both decided these will launder better without velcro to snag in the wash.Overall a great purchase.

These are a great concept. I love all the colors. The problem is that the snaps don't always hold.

These are super easy to use & hold great! No gaps or snaps coming a loose. Very sturdy & exactly what I needed!

They are great additions to outdoor clothes and craft ideas especially for waterproof materials!I have a great pair of rain pants, but they are like parachute pants. The material makes it difficult to fold and keep it stay and defeats the whole purpose of rain pants. I was going to put separating zippers, but I have been pondering on how to add them (again, more I sew, less waterproof it becomes). Then I found these! I put snaps along the lower part of pant legs. They are plastic, so they don't weigh down much, either!I like that they come in many colors, too.Pictures are my experimental tries.A pair of fleece-lined pant leg (on drivetrain side or right leg): I tried 2 different lengths zippers before swapping to snaps. This allows the pant leg to not bunch up and get caught in bicycle chain while I ride.Towel now can be folded and hooked onto the car seat and stays better. This becomes handy after muddy/dusty outdoor activities.

I have happily used the KAM snaps before but somehow misplaced my set. I bought these thinking they should be fine. NOT TRUE! They attached easily enough and I followed instructions about snipping off tips (and testing not snipping tips) and 90% of every installation of my hand-made bridal shower favors of mini purses I made for 20 women all worked TERRIBLY! Either not tight enough and doing every fix suggested and even watching online videos and even pulling out and reinstalling a few OR they were so tight in their closing you almost ripped the (stabilized) material to get them open. Again I tried with and without snipping tips (as suggested) and none of it made any difference. All substandard! I had to give instructions to the guests about holding the purses a certain way to brace for prying open the snaps to not rip the material. I went ahead and paid for another KAM snap set and the first one I installed worked perfectly! It closed beautifully, stayed closed and opened with a gentle tug - as a snap should work. I would never use anything other than KAM again. I don't even want to donate these terrible snaps....

Great product! Snaps are easy to apply to fabric. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
