Review: Logical helpful advice - When my daughter had her twins a couple of years ago I bought her a copy. My mother in law gave me one when I had my first 45 yrs ago. I was young with little experience with babies & no family close by. It's as close to a kid manual as you're going to get whenever the inevitable happens & you're not sure what to do. It covers all ages into the teen years. Kids don't come with directions & this offers a bit of peace of mind to parents when they need a little advice. And everybody does! By the time I got to my 4th kid my copy was falling apart! And the new edition I gave my daughter has even more information added over the years! Review: First time moms especially - This book helped me understand what the heck was happening and going to happen when expecting. Now it's helping my kids with same -- and that goes much better than listening to parents....

GREAT BOOK
I read and used this book when my first born was born. I bot it for my granddaughter who just delivered a 9lb.12 oz baby girl. Dr. Spock has everything you will need to know. Only one thing was wrong that I did. When potty training my son- I praised him for his accomplishment as Dr. Spock suggested. At three years of age - he had a friend playing with him and he said to the friend. Come see my mother (I was sitting on the toilet.)

My adult son needed this book to learn how to be a new single father!
Things happen. My son was on the receiving end of being a new single father. He didn't have any idea what to do. So i bought him this book. He got alot from it and read the entire book several times over. Even after the baby was born, he went back through certain chapters. All parents having their first child should read this book.

A must for all new parents!
Someone gave this book to me when I was pregnant with our first child. I still have it. I like to order this book for new parents in hopes that they will treasure and follow the information that is in the book to their best ability. The price is very affordable.

A pre natal to teenage guide on child rearing
The book explains both physiology and psychology in depth. Enables one to navigate and understand the physical phenomenon of pregnancy as well as the psychology of it. It gives the child's perspective on the World at different stages of growth.

Une référence pédiatrique et personnelle : “Dr. Spock’s Baby and Child Care, 10e édition”
Spock’s Baby and Child Care” absolument essentielle.
