Ergodyne - 20184 ProFlex 1051 Mesh Back Support, Medium, Black

I bought this for generic back support while working on my car; it was perfect. I wouldn't rely on it for any major heavy lifting though.

I absolutely Love this ProFlex back support!!! I spent a lot of time researching back supports on Amazon and what intrigued me most about this one is the contoured lumbar pad in the back. None of the others I researched had one so that's why I decided to give this one a try and I'm so glad I did! Once I put the support belt on the lumbar pad brought instant pain relief to my lower back and it felt sooo good! It's a generous 9"x7" in size and the inward pressure and support eased my pain to where I could walk without being hunched over and sit without becoming sore and stiff. Whoever invented that lumbar pad is a freaking genius for sure!! My abdominal/hip area is 43" and the large fit me perfect to where I have approx 4" of velcro overage in front. My husband has lower back issues too and and can wear this as well even though his abdominal/hip area measures 38". The large cost $22.25 at time of purchase and it was well worth every penny! Most of the other back supports I researched cost more, even triple the price yet none of them have lumbar pads! I can't rave about this back support highly enough! I'd give it 10 stars if Amazon allowed that many!

As a woman, this brace has support in the perfect place to hold my lower spine while I'm working on my feet all day. The mesh is cooler than regular fabric. I wear it against a light shirt, pull my pants over it, with an overshirt for inside work in the winter. I wear it oustside of my shirt in the summer. It significantly decreases my back discomfort while im moving scaffolds, paint buckets and equipment. I'm not tall, but this works fine for me. The price is exceptional too. I got an extra large, and the extra tightening tabs you can adjust makes the perfect fit. Some days I need less support, some days more. It saved my summer.

I hurt my back moving a few months ago. I've been getting treatment, but because I was moving, I needed something to support my back. I've had ankle and knee braces in the past (both made by Mueller) and was going to buy the Mueller back brace as well (http://www.amazon.com/Mueller-Adjustable-Regular-1-Count-Package/dp/B00267SFKC/ref=sr_1_4?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1450313438&sr=1-4&keywords=back+brace) but was concerned about heat and sweating.That is when I came across this product. The mesh is WONDERFUL! Breathable and light with great support in the back. I'm 6'2" and felt that the strap was wide enough without being too wide. The reviews that comment on it rolling/folding over, two comments: (1) It's probably because (like myself), that we have a little extra to love around the midsection that makes it fold over, and (2) try adjusting the secondary straps a little higher to add extra layer towards the top to prevent folding over.Additional tip that helped me - put it on while laying on your back so that you can center the support in the back. I found that sometimes when I put it on while standing up, it get's off center so laying down helps make sure it's right in the middle. But be careful to not over-tighten lest you explode when standing up.

The back bone on this is not as sturdy as the first one I got back in the 1990's. I love my first one but I was 15 pounds lighter and need a larger one. Gave this one to my daughter. She says it cuts into her side.

Confortable y muy seguro

I bought one for my wife and she liked how much cooler it was. So I bought one for myself. It is cooler and the back pad seems to be more assertive than the standard compression type belts. I do have a bad back due to a 20 year old injury and at times need wear the belt all day. Much better and helpful as well as cooler on hot days.Several people ask about the size of what it fits so I shall answer this. I wear a large I have a 36" waist and the Large belt should fit by my estimate a 30" to a 40" comfortably. My wife wears a Medium and even though the medium will fit me is tight when the adjustment straps are adjusted. The medium will fit comfortable about a 26" to 34" waist. The adjustment straps allow a wide variance in the comfort level and waist size. I recommend that whatever size your shirt is should be the size belt that would comfortably work for you.The double compression straps allow for a snug or looser fit for heavy work or minor back support as needs and comfort needs. The back pad is much better for my back than compression only belts. The back pad seems to place support just where needed. For myself at least it is better than other belts I have used in the past. There may be better out there and probably is just I have not yet found it. Till then I shall use this one.

I wear this thing about 16/7. (Yes, I'm probably headed toward a back surgery.) I think I have an arthritic facet joint(s) and I know I have some bulging discs (very common). I tried several brands of braces, and this one works the best for me. I have been able to rise in the car, and sit and watch television, more or less pain free since I've been wearing it. I own a few of them for various situations. I wear the brace over a T-shirt, and when cool enough, add a long sleeved shirt over the top of it. It's really been a life saver for me.

we each have one and wear them any time we're doing outside chores (raking, gardening, shoveling snow) and heavy lifting; they're comfortable and help prevent getting aching backs from the work

Je l'utilise principalement pour éviter le mal de dos en jardinant. Mais lorsque je me baisse le pantalon descend et vient se coincer sous la ceinture de maintien. Et quand je me relève, le pantalon ne se remet pas en place.Sinon cette ceinture semble faire son travail correctement
