Street Guardian SG9CCM Replacement SG9665GC, SGGCX2, SGGCX2PRO, SG9663DR Cigarette Lighter Adapter with Metal Tip

I had to replace the power supplyers to my two old Guardians because their power supplies failed. So far, these ones are doing well. I've faith they will last longer than the previous.This replacement doesn't have a tiny red LED (power is on) indicator on the plug, itself. The LED is on the little box that is in series. I prefer the indicator on the plug.

The video quality with this new cord is way below the quality that came with the camera. I can no longer read many signs and can not read any license plates. Very dissatisfied. I guess you get what you pay for. No wonder it only costs $20.

My camera died and I panicked. I did a little problem solving to make sure it wasn't my charger port. Next step - buy a new cord. I'd rather spend $20 for a new cord first than just go buy a new unit. Woot! I'm back in business. Those 2 days spent waiting for it to arrive where stress inducing (having a camera is definitely provides a feeling of security), but all is well.

Had to replace my old adapter after the wires near the base started to get exposed. This one seems to be sturdy enough and works well.

Much better than the previous version with the fragile plastic plugin tip. So glad Street Guardian made the fix.
