bought this for my ankermake m5c as it says that it is compatible with it but the posting is incorrect it does not fit the m5c its far to long to fit

Great Replacement for the All metal hotend
This is a great upgrade for the M5, make sure you use a 22mm Piece of PTFE tube between this and the extruder, to fill the gap. I wish these were produced by more companies. I've been printing ASA at 260 degrees, and PLA Plus at 215. Both worked fantastic with this Bimetal heatbreak.

Love it!
Had to cut the blue (teflon?) sleeve off the original hot-end to extend the filament feed path, but now I can retract ABS and other 'high temperature' filaments, where before I had to partially disassemble the print head, cut off the filament, and force the new filament on top.

Upgrade M5 Bimetal Heatbreak: A Short but Challenging Fit for Ankermake M5 3D Printer
I recently tried the Bi-Metal Heatbreak on my Ankermake M5 3D printer's standard hot end. While the heatbreak is the same length as the PTFE-lined standard one, it lacks the PTFE tube that typically extends past the heatbreak towards the extruder gears. As a result, feeding filament down the heatbreak can be more difficult.To address this issue, I had to use a piece of PTFE tubing to bridge the gap between the new tube and the extruder gears. The length of the heatbreak is about ~21mm from the of top heatbreak to where the old PTFE tube made contact with the extruder.Overall, I found the Upgrade M5 Bimetal Heatbreak to be a decent option for my Ankermake M5 3D printer.
