After using this Steam Deck cooling stand for a few days, I’ve got to say—it’s better than I expected. The cooling really makes a difference. The dual fans push plenty of air, and even during long gaming sessions, the back of the Deck doesn’t get hot anymore. The RGB lights are a fun touch too, especially at night, without being too flashy. The stand feels solid and holds the Deck steady, and the angle is great for playing on a desk. The extra ports on the base are super handy. It basically works like a mini dock, so I can plug in a keyboard, hard drive, or even a monitor without any trouble. For everyday use, it just makes everything easier. I also like the little details, like the braided charging cable—it feels durable and looks nice. Overall, it’s just a very practical accessory. Nothing overcomplicated, everything works well, and it genuinely improves the gaming experience. If you play your Steam Deck a lot, this cooling stand is definitely worth checking out.

Will not charge ROG ally regardless of charger. I tried 65w 100w 45w. The fans work rgb works usb pass through works. Also will not display out no matter what changes are made to settings. If you want something to weigh down the bottom of your trash can this device does that well..

Great dock even if your not using an ally. I use it just to have my phone and iPad stand up during video calls. As long as the device plugged up has video out you can use and take advantage of this dock! Numerous ports for charging and connecting. Very light so it portable. Good price. As long as your charger is on the faster side it'll be great. Speed. It can basically fit anywhere

Does not fit an ROG “Xbox” Ally / Ally X. Your device will sit on top of the front lip of the stand if you want to recline it back like it should. If you want it to fit snugged your device will be tilting forward. Not recommended for the Xbox versions of the ROG Ally. The natural position of the wire included in the dock faces the wrong way causing you to bend it at an angle where you will put resistance on it. Not sure how much that will last if in constant use of Dock vs Handheld. It’s also pretty small to the point that the fans are to low to reach where the handhelds vents are located making them useless. (The last part may vary depending on your device)

This dock is awesome if you're just trying to keep it simple, and keep your steam deck cooled down. It hasn't given me any issues, my only complaint is it only has one HDMI port so you can't split your monitor screen without attachments. But that doesn't affect how this little dock still is reliable, and is still worth the purchase.

It allows my son the ability to play on the rog ally with his keyboard and mouse. It also allows him to occasionally play on the tv. All of this while cooling the rog off

My teenage son uses this to cool down his electronics. Works great for him and lets him play games longer.
