Great quality and improves motor skills!!!!!
My baby used the mobile to help self soothe himself when he was in the hospital. When he came home it was an easy transition because all of the features on it. I can turn the light off and he can look at the stars while listening to a lullaby. The mirror is great because it promotes motor skills with both his hands and eyes. The physical and occupational therapist recommended this product. If you get this make sure you have a simple crib with no curves.

The princess approved
My daughter has been in and out of the hospital for her entire life. She was born with congenital heart disease and has had two open heart surgeries. The child life department in the hospital put one of these mobiles in her room. Ever since then this mobile has been a part of her. My husband and I both decided after this last hospital stay to purchase one and I am glad we did. I have never seen such a big smile on our daughter’s face once we put her down to bed. She truly enjoys bedtime at four months old.

great mobile
Unfortunately, our son had to be admitted to the PICU when he was 4 days old, but when we got there a nurse set this mobile up over his hospital bed/crib and it really was a life saver. Our poor guy went through multiple tests and blood draws and as long as this mobile was on, it really helped keep him calm. He loved it so much that we made sure that we bought it here on Amazon before we left the hospital. $100 seems steep, but it's totally worth it! He loves the music and the stars on the ceiling at night, and honestly the "waves" sound help put my husband and I to sleep as well when we were all sleeping in his hospital room. Overall, it's a great mobile and I highly recommend it.

Not worth the price.
There are no lights except for a red indicator light. Most mobiles have a projector onto the ceiling and cost about 1/3 of the price. My review is for the $99.99 “portable” version. It appears some other reviews for the more expensive version which DOES have a projector, are mistakenly on this page. I would say don’t waste your money unless you plan to use this during the day or in a room with some light on. We even tested to see if it glows in the dark, which it does not. The crib attachment is very nice and well thought out.

Attaches to almost anything including a crib and a pack and play!
Saw this introduced at the Chicago Child Life Specialist Conference in May. I was familiar with this companies first mobile as I have seen them in the NICU at Lurie Children's hospital in Chicago. SO when I saw the slightly smaller new mobile I was excited to get it as a baby shower gift for my neighbor's son and daughter in law.Pros:Designed again with lots of input from Child Life Specialists ( you know...those nice people at the hospital that care about your experience and outcome there) which means it can help developmentally. The rotating mobile can flip over from black and white ( for new borns that don't see color yet) to colorful pictures when the child gets a little older. Also has a small mirrored surface so the baby can see them selves which I understand is one of those helpful development things.Fully cleanable. With all the measles going around this is important. As I said, the other mobile from this company is in our local children's hospital partly because of this feature. It has a new adjustable base that Attaches to almost anything. Cribs, pack and plays, basinets , Car Seats?.Also has a new, Cool, record and play thingy. A voice recorder on to a chip that's in the arm of the mobile. It actually lets you record your own voice and then will play it back. Either in a loop or one time. SO you can record yourself reading a story or singing a song and let the baby hear your voice when you cant be there...I think this would be cool for grand parents or maybe a military parent who is not able to see the child every day?!Has a new Picture holder so you can put a family picture, or in our house, a picture of a dog on it.All buttons are really easy to access and give you the ability to chose for the paddles to rotate on a timer.Cons:Well I haven't heard a complaint from the user or her parents so I guess none!

Nice but too expensive
This is a cute mobile, but not sure it’s worth the price. It only hooks to a crib, so not very versatile. Plays music, sounds, or heart beat noise.

Perfect for infants with developmental delay or brain injury
My 1 year old suffered a massive heart attack due to several birth defects. This in turn caused severe brain injury. We originally discovered this mobile while he was inpatient at ochsner hospital, and for a while it was the only thing he would respond too. He lives the mirror ball, the shapes, lights, and all of the sounds. Since we bought one for him at home he is so much more at ease and relaxed, he stays focused and lucid for longer periods of time, he even tries to reach for the pictures from time to time (which would have beem impossible for him 3 months ago).

Beware of mount compatibility with your crib!
Before spending a lot on this item, check to make sure that it will mount on your crib. The engineering of the mount leaves a lot to be desired. There is no way to extend it if the bars on your crib aren't exactly a few inches below the "L" on the mount, and if your crib has an overhang (which many do) it's impossible to mount this at all. I will either return the item, or build something myself that I can attach it to. We don't have an unusual crib, but there's absolutely no way this will fit as-is.
