Award Winning Hape Rock and Rhythm Kid's Musical Instruments Wooden Drum Set

I had done alot of research for a drum set for my almost 2 year old. He drums on everything but particularly my dishwasher while I'm loading dishes. I had read alot of other reviews about other drums sets breaking very easy but this drum set seemed to have good reviews. So I splurged and spent the extra money to get him this set knowing it would hold up longer than alot of those other cheap drum sets. When it came in , all though small, I was impressed at the fact that its mostly all wood and very well constructed. I knew he would love it! Christmas morning he was in love with it. He played with it off and on all morning but by mid afternoon he returned to play with it and gave a strong bang to the left drum with the drum stick and the drum "sheet" thing busted! I was shocked that it had broken so easily. The entire ring that held the plastic sheet that you hit with the drum stick had come off. Apparently when they attach these drum sheets to the drum base they stretch them so they make the drumming sound. Well I couldn't stretch it. I super glued the sheet down to the drum base and then super glued the ring back down on the drum sheet but it doesn't make a drum sound now like the right side. Is more of a bong sound. I was disappointed. He wasn't even drumming hard and the whole reason for me choosing this set was because I knew it would hold up! Well it didn't even last my son 1 day before it busted. I'm hoping he will just ignore the bad drum sound on the left and continue to use it.

This toy is perfect for my 10 month old. The only thing I would change is that it spins if you push on it, so if he loses his balance it tips over with him (he can’t catch himself on it because it spins). It’s durable enough for my son, although I can see how it wouldn’t be for an older kid. Overall it’s great for younger kids and one of my sons favorite toys.

I was so excited when I put this cute and seemingly sturdy drum set together for a Christmas present. 3 days later when it was opened, one of the main wood pieces had already split, causing the one drum to sag and be a little loose. It hadn't even been played with yet! I specifically bought this higher priced wooden drum set so that it would be longer lasting, but it broke before even being used. I have contacted the company to get a replacement part/item, so hoping that this was just a fluke... but I have a feeling its just cheap wood being used.

Bought this for our grandson (20 mos) for Christmas. He loved it! Pretty quick to assemble. The wooden block with grooves was glued on and came of pretty readily; we just glued it back on with super strong glue. Perfect size for him. They cymbals are quite loud and turned out to be his favorite part. So we learned early on to "hide" the drums at night and bring them back out after 8am. :)

The set is very cute and my 2.5 year old loves it but it is a lot smaller than it appears in the pictures. Also the cymbal is terrible. It's so loud and shrill but I guess I should have expected that. I would buy it again I just wish the pictures showed the size better.

I disliked putting it together I thought it could’ve been simpler. This drum set is nice and can be easily carried around. It’s unique from all other on the market. Good buy

The plate at the top didn't stay with the supplied screw. The screw would loosen after hitting the plate a few times. I used wood glue on the screw and put it back. Since then it has remained fixed. Otherwise, the drums are nice and quality is good.

Countless hours of fun for the little one. However this thing is tiny! Don't let the photos fool you. Shame on me for forgetting to check the dimensions. Setup was very simply. Nice wood. Clean finish. Everything lined up perfectly.

It’s as specified on the net. Easy to assemble and easy to handle. Drums and disc are great to play

Creo ques es por que le pego muy fuerte al tamborcito y por eso se rompio. en breve tratare de repararlo pero sin duda es un buen producto a pesar de que ya se rompio... el peque es muy dinamico

Un juguete bonito, con piezas solidas, pero frágil una vez armado. Me gustaron los acabados, pero no me gustó tanto la fragilidad de la estructura. Se lo recomiendo a quien busque un detalle bonito para regalar
