Farming Simulator 19: Collector's Edition PC CD

I absolutely love the game, it works perfectly without any problems and because it's the Collectors Edition FS19 I received everything in the box nothing was missing as the pictures show above. Gift for my nephew & despite his age, I'm not sure if he was more made up with the stickers & beanie hat or the actual game!! As long as he is loving it, so am I & he seems to think this is much better than the previous version. Auntie did good, whoop!!

I am just leaving a review to let people know that; contrary to some reviews I have read before purchasing; this game is not just for windows 7. Reading the reviews, I nearly refrained from buying it for my brother's christmas, but I have the game at home now and it says on the box it is compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10.

Great game to play and works well on windows 10 pro

I use a Thrustmaster tx racing wheel, button boxes and a joystick. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t support any of these devices properly. I even tried plugging my Xbox controller directly into my pc but only the D pad worked.You are currently only able to play this game with the keyboard and mouse and the wheel at the moment. But having the wheel plugged in with the keyboard and mouse really glitches out the menu screens as it gets confused as to what device you want to use to navigate the menu. If you wish to use any additional controllers it will not recognise them.I don’t see any major game changing improvements over fs17 other than the slightly improved (pubg style) graphics, more vehicles available in the base game and a few tweaks to the physics E.g. cab suspension whilst driving the tractors and birds flying up from a field when you drive through it...There is still no force feedback, manual gearbox and no sign of seasons (which was an extremely popular mod on fs17) perhaps they are letting the modders create their own seasons mod again for the new game?? It seems to me that they let modding community make the game how it should come out of the box!!!The engine sounds in the cab of the vehicles sound worse than fs17 and there is still no force feedback or a manual gearbox!???! In a 2018 simulator??? Come on...Just a warning for those of you who don’t know, If you buy the disc version of the game you have to have the disc in the pc whilst playing the game.If you are interested in this game at the moment but on the fence about it, I would avoid buying it. I’m tempted to get a refund, but as I’ve opened the box and used the code I don’t think it is possible.It is unplayable for me at the moment, it needs patches ASAP which they will hopefully be working on now but In the meantime I’m just going to carry on playing fs17.

The boxed copy is separate from the download from Giants which is separate from the steam version.This means that you need a drive to install the game which is something that's missing from most gaming pc's these days, including mine.Extras are nice in the collectors edition but nothing special really and reports are that its the usual bug filled launch as happened with FS17. Hopefully it improves with time. I shall edit this again when i actually mange to play the game...
