Right, so I had a bit of a mishap with my keys - they got run over, and one of the carabiners I had broke. Turns out, it was made of aluminium. Luckily, my keys were fine, so I decided to craft a lanyard and upgrade the carabiner to better suit my needs. I must say, this little carabiner is surprisingly minimalist and sleek. Now, I can't speak for everyone's experience with using it for keys, but the way I've set up my lanyard, it works absolutely brilliantly. So, if you're into making your own gear or find yourself in a similar situation, this is definitely the way to go.

This is a tiny (c 8 cm) belt clip with a carabiner end and a key ring, and the tiniest piece of leather connecting the two. The titanium is well engineered, the carabiner end clipping and unclipping due to a clever series of notches drilled into the surface to give it flexibility. The keyring end simply moves from side to side to allow the adding and removal of keys. I just don't see the need for this to be £45. It's a decent enough clip, but I'm not convinced it's strong enough to guarantee it couldn't unclip if pulled or dragged at the wrong angle. It is so expensive, and comes in a strange plastic box. I think it's basically a triumph of engineering over usability. A strange affair.

ネジで付け外しが出来るというところが個人的に最大のポイントだったのですが、そこが一番中途半端な仕様でイマイチでした。 まずマイナス一本では外せません。受け側がツルツルなので手では十分に抑えられず供回りします。私は傷を覚悟でプライヤーで挟みましたが他にいい方法が有るのでしょうか？やはり受け側にもマイナス溝を付けるか、受け側の革に接する面に滑り止めの凹凸を付けるべきだと思います。 お値段の割にユーザーフレンドリーではなくお勧めしません。無名メーカー品で、3分の1程度の値段で同様の素材・仕様で接続部のみピン仕様になっているものが出回っています。仕上がりは若干劣りますが、正直そちらの方が満足度が高かったです。

Es ist in einer Vakuumverpackung in einem Präzisions-Schraubendreher-ähnlichen Gehäuse aus Polypropylen untergebracht. Im Inneren der Hülle sind ein cooler Katalog und ein Logo-Aufkleber enthalten. Der Schlüsselanhänger selbst sieht gut aus. Es ist extrem leicht und ohne den Lederstreifen ist das Titan selbst federleicht. Selbst wenn der Lederstreifen angebracht ist, erhöht dies kaum das Gewicht der Schlüssel oder was auch immer Sie darauf tragen. Interessant ist der Federmechanismus am Karabiner. Die Feder wird durch eine Reihe winziger Schlitze im Metall erreicht, die eine Bewegung per Fingerdruck ermöglichen. Ich wusste nicht, dass Titan so flexibel sein würde, wie es hier gezeigt wird, und die Anordnung funktioniert gut. Vermutlich trägt das Fehlen einer echten Feder zur Leichtigkeit bei. Ein einfacher, aber eleganter Schlüsselanhänger, der genau die richtige Größe hat, um ihn in der Tasche zu tragen.
