The media could not be loaded. I don’t want to buy a headset. I already have my Beats headphones and thought about buying a dongle; this gets the job done.I’ve used it plenty of times since I bought this in 2022 and haven’t seen any signs of tear or failures, so the build quality is excellent.DAC works as advertised (see pictures), and it can go up to 24-bit/192kHz. Listening to music, it sounds more better compared to CD-quality (16bit/44.1kHz) but not much of a difference to my ears.When it comes to microphone quality (via my wired aux cable with mic that came from my Beats), it is alright. Don’t worry, people will hear you in Zoom or online gaming, even if you don’t hold your mic close to your mouth. But when I recorded myself via Audacity, you can hear the difference.Overall, I like this dongle that I bought, it is neat when you want to chat someone online and listening to high quality music.

Since Samsung decided to delete the headphone/microphone jack on the new S20 models, that put me in a precarious situation. I do video marketing for businesses and switched over from using my Canon DSLR to my Samsung S8 for shooting videos.I use a Boya BY-WM4 Pro wireless mic set for recording the audio. Without the mic jack on the phone, my wireless mics would not work. SO I tried ordering a USB C digital audio adapter from another company only to find out, mics did not work. I ordered this adapter and it DOES work. I can now record video with quality wireless lapel mic audio for my clients.If you are using a new Samsung S20 and a wireless mic set for shooting HD video. This is the adapter to get!NOTE: This adapter does not work with the iPhone.

So far I can say this item is working well for me. I bought an adapter sold by a different company that I returned because the sound quality was not very good. The sound quality of this adapter is good. I feel that I got value for the price I paid. I cannot address the durability of this product yet. I have only had them for less than a week.
