Statehood Quarters Album 1999-2009, P&D (Cornerstone Coin Albums) Board book – August 15, 2010

I looked at many coin books and this book is, without a doubt, the best. The presentation is great. The coins fit perfectly and I really like the plastic slide pieces that protect the front and back of the coins. Very professional. It also has a lot of good interesting information in the book. You will like this book.

I've used the Whitman coin slot books before, but these are much better. Easy to load the quarters into the slots - 20 to 24 coins per page - and with clear plastic on both sides, coins stay in and one can see the condition of your coins on both sides. The album is heavy enough and has similar dimensions to a book, and the coins inside are perfectly secure so you can store the album vertically.The only hitch to this coin collecting album is if you upgrade - you find or buy a coin in a better condition - you have to remove the plastic sleeve and will possibly dislodge the other 10-16 coins residing in the sleeve. I consider it a small hitch.

Bought for teenagers, but now sure that it will be something they will read. They'll collect the quarters, but I thought the history would be in more of a book format. Otherwise, it is a nice gift.

Worth it!! This is best purchased I've made for my collection.. It's has a slot for both P & D quarters. I've had anotjer book before and it was horrible! but The slots on this one are perfectly made for the quarters, therefore it's easy for them to fit in and they don't move around. There is a clear plastic seal to protect them and open on both sides so you can see both sides of the coin. I also bought the national park quarters book and I'm super pleased! :)

I initially wrote a critical review, but it was based on user error. This is a nice book and my daughter loves it.

This is one of the easiest albums to use!!! I assume that they fixed the earlier issue since, for me, the coin slots were super easy to fill. No pushing, or cutting here just slide the plastic pane out, insert the quarter into the corrosponding slot and slide the pane back in. Pages have information about the states and their history, collecting, and other series. The pictures are colorful and the pages are well made and very sturdy. There are no additional slots for extras, just P and D of each issue. Very very happy with my purchase!

The coins fit a little more loosely than the last coin album I bought in this series, also the layers in the cardboard are off a little bit in the one I received. Still a solid coin album though, I would still recommend one.

This book provides protection for the coins that other coin books lack. The clear plastic inserts allow the appreciation of both sides of a coin without having to handle it. Insertion of the coins, and removal when upgrading a specimen, is amazingly simple. I intend to acquire other books made by this company.
