Construction wise look very sturdy and nice. Yes it’s very big, the functions super simple to be honest: ice, clean and on/off.When you get the tank option you don’t get the connection for plumbing. Tank big enough; I send it back, kind slow ice producing, noise acceptable.Machine assembly super easy just connect the pipe to the tank. Not the best fit for me because I don’t need or want the machine producing ice 24/7

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Instruction packet fairly useless and incorrect. Made ice the first two days, makes a lot of noise. Third day it decided to do a cleaning cycle and now will not make ice. I like the external tank to fill, the hose on the back to drain is a very poor design. Returning this non-working unit. I really dislike the "partial refund" option Amazon offered. $60 to keep a non-working unit? Makes no sense. They made returning non-working items as difficult as possible. Just about done with Amazon, their delivery is slow, Prime video is garbage and now returns are difficult. It's a shame.

First of all, I think I ordered 3 or 4 different sonic ice makers. I sent all of them back for various reasons. I LOVE this one.I hooked it up to a waterline and got a filter. The machine is worth it just for that reason! I hated having to fill my old one with water from the tap.Pretty easy to hook up too. There is a customer service number, which we did have to call for a quick question. They answered quickly and knew what we were asking. So that was good!I love the easy easy to drain the reservoir.The ice tastes delicious and it makes a LOT of ice very quickly. We have a family of 4 using it all day every day. There's plenty to go around.You won't regret spending a little more to get the waterline connection! Most units in this price range don't have that capability.

Easy to hook up and thrilled this one is hooked up to a water supply. Took my husband 5min to set up and ice started popping out 5min after starting. HOWEVER, it keeps making a high pitched squeaky sound like a fan belt worn out in a car that lasts about 30 seconds then stops for an hour or so. Little worried about that. That is my only complaint so far.

It’s been 3 months since I bought this ice maker for my mancave and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.I got the one that hooks directly to the water line so I don’t have to refill. It has been amazing! The ice is perfect just like sonic ice. As soon as I use some ice, it starts replenishing the ice. I’ve had several large gatherings and we have never ran out of ice.I’d say this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Wish I would have gotten one sooner.

This machine comes with parts incase you need it, which is great. Tubing for the waterline, 3 way plastic adaptor, pressure regulator, and a metal adaptor with a valve. We had these things already for our previous ice makers (that broke) so that it could connect to the water line behind the fridge. No other seller did. This machine made ice QUICK. I probably had a full tub of ice within an hour. The light is a nice touch and we turn it on at night. Ice is still there in the morning. Cleaning it is alright. My only issue with cleaning it is i don't get a clear enough view of the bottom to wipe. But it drains nice and fast, filter comes out easy for me with my nails. Lol. Quite a well. It does make a noise every once in a while but I've come to expect it since this is my third ice maker.It's not all the time either. Like once a week, maybe. Hopefully this last longer than the others. Will update otherwise.

I ordered it end of June, set up and plugged in use for maybe 3-4 weeks now, liked the side water tank, not too noisy, crunchy pellet ice is great. have run cleaning cycle twice. (ice did not taste old, just said to clean every week) before bed, filled the water tank.this morning got up, no ice in the bin, it was running, turned it off, decided to run a cleaning cycle, the water in the drain line was HOT when I emptied, ran cleaning cycle, did so twice. turned it on, a couple of cubes started, then they melted, and nothing after 15 minutes more turned it off.. Not pleased at all!! is now listed as not avaliable. How do submit a warrenty issue???

Edit: the customer service is next level helpful and fast. 5 stars because of the customer service.Was awesome before it stopped working after 3 months.
