Very nice!
I recently purchased this and I love it! It will be a gift for my dad for Father's Day and I think he'll be pleased with it. My dad is a wood-worker, but often doesn't have the time to build things for himself, so this was a great option. Its well-built and a good size. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some edges did not come stained. All of the surface faces were stained, but not the edges. Knowing my perfectionist father, I messaged the seller with my concern and asked what stain brand and color he used so that I could stain the edges. He was very kind and helpful, and I was easily able to finish the bat box. I would definitely recommend this product and seller!

Looks nice no bats yet
Went up easy enough and it looks good, but smaller than I thought but no big deal for the price. No bats yet but I've heard it can take a while, over all happy with the purchase

Great product
We live in Michigan and have a couple of bats around the house. So wanted to get them a house and liked this one. It is well built and bought some spray to get them into the house. Thanks to the info with the house, didn't know it could take some time for them to find the house. Bats are a endangered species and don't want to lose them. Have had them in our house when they lose their way, but getting them out is very easy if you do it right. Bats don't like the lights so turn them on in the house. Close all doors to other rooms, open either a slider door or pedestian door and watch them as they fly and they will find the air flow to the door. It takes me about a minute to get them out. I do admit I put a coat/blanket over my head just to be safe. Thanks for the nice well built bat house and would buy from them again. Thanks.

very nicely built
this product looks exactly like the photo. beautifully made. Came with the screws to install and instructions for the best hanging height to attract bats. It is not the season for them right now so I don't know if it will be used, but it sure looks great

As advertised.
We bought this bat house mainly for my wife to use as a teaching aid for her 4th grade class she teaches. Although we will be hanging it when the class is done with it. It's well constructed and visually appealing. We will be staining the sections that have been left bare wood. Living in the Pacific Northwest we get a lot of rain during the winter and any exposed wood left out in the elements will absorb moisture and begin to swell. Even if semi protected by the eave of the house. Staining the landing area will also reduce reflected light keeping the house darker. Darker the better as far as bats are concerned. This bat house is definately worth the price. We're happy with it and looking forward to see if any bats will move in.
