Outdated
Some of the recipes are very interesting. Most contain raw eggs and milk. I don't eat either. The recipes that did not are interesting.

Good recipes but a bit out of date with raw egg whites in many of the dishes.
I like a lot of the recipes in this 1977 book and will use them. I really wanted this for ideas, since making gelatin dishes is pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, a lot of the recipes call for "flavored gelatin," i.e. Jell-O, that I am definitely not using. Also, a lot of the recipes call for raw, beaten, egg whites. In 1977, it was safe to eat raw eggs. Not so much now. I have my own chickens and they...so far...don't have salmonella issues, but it can happen, so I am cautious about using raw eggs. Otherwise, the book is filled with great ideas, well written, and an interesting peek into the 70s.

Seller went above and beyond
I got my order and it was exactly as the seller described. I ordered a cookbook. What impressed me was that the seller tucked an assortment of other recipes she had found on her own inside the book. That was super nice.

Nice
Gave this as a gift. This made the person really happy. They love knox jelly and this helped them get ideas for jelly projects.

Eccentric Gelatine Recipes for the Nostalgia-Curious!
Fabulously strange vintage recipes of all persuasions, from simple and sweet to fishy and bizarre (like, literally, fish... seafood). This is exactly the gelatine cookbook I've been looking for. You will not be disappointed!

Happy enough
Good condition showing no damage or wear, but the pages had a strong musty smell hard to get rid of.
