I ordered these for my 2.5 year old to use with play doh. I wanted to try a press instead of a traditional cookie cutter. What a big difference in the quality of the image, and ease of getting it out of the cutter. We love these, and the cutters work well with play doh, cookie dough, kinetic sand, and fondant. It’s a bit tricky for a 2.5 year old to use, since it requires pushing down with a cookie cutter, then pressing the button, then lifting it up, but he got it in no time. I absolutely love how crisp the image is! Can’t wait to order more.

I have been using these for playdoe with my grandkids and they LOVE them! It’s a quick easy 3 step process. Press down like any other cookie cutter. Then press the little spring button down to make the impression, then pick it up and press the spring button once more to push out the dough. You can make thin or thick ones. I like to make them almost 1/2 in thick so that they actually start up and the kids play with them that way too. Very cool.

I had my eye on these for a long time. But they were always a bit pricey (> $10 + shipping) and I was mostly interested in the unicorn. But recently they dropped in price (<$4) and were offered with prime shipping, so I was happy to get them.I use these kind of cutters for sandwiches in the bento style lunches I pack for my daughter.To use them on bread, it's recommended to roll the sandwich bread out with a rolling pin. The stamps will imprint better that way. I also like to color the stamp part with edible markers.I have used similar cutters for cookies before, so I'm pretty sure these will work with cookie dough just as well.For the price I got them they're a must in my collection!

Makes a nice, albeit small, cookie. It is as durable (or not) as other spring-loaded cutters I’ve used. Some tips: 1. roll the dough a bit thicker than with your typical cookie cutter, too thin will result in the imprints cutting through the dough 2. Use a non-spreading, low puff, cookie recipe so you that maintain the print and 3. I found that they look best lightly decorated either with thin royal icing paint (rather than thick flooding consistency) or a dust of powered sugar. The attached picture was done with a quick brushed on thin icing to maintain the imprint. 4. Cutters can be taken apart carefully to clean if dough gets stuck in the press.Overall, a good option when you don’t want to be artistic and decorate free-hand, but still want a cute homemade cookie.

These are so inexpensive and absolutely great. They make the cutest cookies and are easy to use. I just use a scrubby dish-brush to hand-wash, and it seems to get them totally clean. I've already sent the link to my work friends who are especially keen on the unicorn!

The cutters are adorable and so, so easy to use. The imprint is amazing and they are a perfect size. I love them and will use them over and over. I could take or leave the crown, wish there was something in place but over all I'm really happy with them.

these are awesome. we used the unicorn one with a super simple dough and they looked amazing. mixed some powdered sugar with water for a glaze, topped of the uni hair with sparkles and done! as far as cleaning goes: in order to make these, you have to put flower on your dough anyhow, so they 't stick to the dough. i threw them in the dishwasher and they came out looking like new!

Cute designs but so not practical. Maybe we are not using it correctly but the stamps were hard to use, the dough got stuck inside so none of the shapes came out correctly and it was a nightmare to clean .

These work super well as sandwich cutters! I’mVery pleased with this purchase and have been looking for other cookie stamp designs by RP.
