Adjustable Plate Loadable Kettlebell Handle - Uses Common Weight Plates for Home Gym and Portable Workouts (5-100 pounds)

This is perfect for a home gym, especially if you have limited space and don't want to spend a ton of money on a kettlebell set. Full disclosure: I purchased a "factory second" model. It seems to be extremely well made, and it feels very sturdy in-hand.To address some of the concerns with other reviews, I have no issue with the holes in the post. The pins are secure, and I have no trouble taking them in and out of any of the holes on the post. My hands are average-sized, and I have no trouble getting both an the handle. The handle size seems in line with other kettlebells I've used at the gym. To be fair, I can see where larger hands would have an issue. Though I imagine that is the case with regular kettlebells, as well.Changing plates is simple, and I agree that plates larger than 25 pounds could pose a mobility issue.I've tried a variety of exercises at different weights with no problems. It is a little harder on the forearms than rounded kettlebells, but guards help immensely.The only issue one may want to consider is the plates may clank when performing swings or other exercises. This is only a concern if noise is an issue at home.All in it is a great product, and I'm jealous I didn't think of it first.

Slow Delivery: I ordered this product on August 7 and it was supposed to get to me on August 15th. The day it shipped (after August 15th) was the day they cancelled the shipment. There was no reason why. Just a cancellation. I got in contact with Amazon at the end of August because my money never made it back into my account. They told me they’d ship me one. They did and it did not get here September 16/17.Wrong Fit: The kettlebell comes with 2 pins. One of my pins fits perfectly. The other one is like a millimeter off. So I had to order new pins for it to be used “properly”. It still works with just one.High Quality: All in all, this product is great. I’ve used it everyday I’ve been in the gym since I got it. So far I’ve loaded 50 #’s using 10’s. I’ll continue to add more in the weeks to come. I don’t feel like it’s going to break at all. The handle size is great and it feels nice to handle too.I give it a 4/5 because of all the trouble with shipping. I’d give it a 4.5/5 due to the wrong pin. 5/5 if everything had shipped correctly with the right pins.I can assure you that I’ll be buying another one in the future. If they wanted to ship a free one for all the trouble, then I wouldn’t complain at all ;)

My Backround : Since 1995 I have worked with Olympic and Elite athelets across many sports . This is important as regards this review , since I have been privy to working in and on Olympic Training Centers and being around some of the finest equipment on the planet.So to begin : Mr Mull has a definite winner in this product .Here is why : this is made with first rate material and product design .It has a wonderful texture to the handle . It is neither to aggressive nor lacking in grip .It accommodates larger hand sizes without being to large for those with 3rd grader hands (mr. trump) .The Multi Pin placements allow you to very the amount of weight used .The solid cast construction is going to last a lifetime .One caveat : I would like to see this product in a full METAL casting :The reason ? So that the trainers like myself could use it in training as a Keg Toss training tool .Thank you Mr Mull for a wonderful product , and continued success with your future training equipment endeavors .

This is a fine product. It's a beefy piece of metal that fits the hand better than most purpose made kettlebells. The fastening pins are pretty much idiot proof and totally safe. The main point that this better than standard kettlebells laying all over your weight room is well made. Kettlebells are among the hardest items to stow or rack, so having this handle for Olympic plates is a big advantage. For me it's very useful and I'm glad I made the purchase. Much better than any other adjustable kettlebell system I've handled.Here's the mandatory quibble. With plates attached it is a different shape than a standard kettlebell. This may affect the way some users exercise with the weight. For me it's a non-issue but others may need to think about it.I wholly recommend the KettleBud as a tough, flexible and useful tool.

It is made out of solid material, but the holes aren't centered, and the coarseness of the holes make the weights wobble around too much. This is extremely rugged, in the sense that it looks like grandpa made it in his garage, paying little attention to detail. It works okay, but I don't really like having hobbyist-looking products in my gym. I returned this and bought the StrengthTools Plate Loaded Kettlebell instead. More expensive, but way higher quality and no plates flopping around while I do kettlebell swings.

Just received this and loaded with some 10s and then with 25s (CAP grip Olympic plates). After doing a some basic KB settings it seems great. Can easily fit two hands on the grip. The finish is a little different after being used to iron plates and steel bars, since this is aluminum. With the two pins it weighs just under 5 pounds. I don't see it being usefully for KB flips or things like that. Would be great for swings or Farmer carries.
