I needed 2 10 foot extensions to add to the Y system I have as we have two outlets and I don't want to have to un-attach and move the hoses to empty the tanks. Being set fairly apart on the camper (one outlet in front and one behind the triple axels). So I set up a Y-connection with these two hoses going to the tank outlets. You can see in the photo (before adding leveling to the hoses) they worked out just fine. These hoses have a nice feature not on all hose sets in that the connector that goes on the outlet to lock it in place swivels and allows you to attach and un-attach without twisting the hose up at all. I like that feature. The connectors seem to be built very well and are even lubricated from the factory. I used the system without any issues at all, and the hoses are good and think walled so they will not tear or break easily. But this does make them just a little stiff, but rather that than brittle or flimsy. If you need a extension for your waste water/ sewer system, these will do the trick very nicely! I cannot rate durability when I just purchased this hose, accept to say that it looks well-manufactured, and I've had Camco hoses before that lasted a long time. It is stated that it will fit easily into a 4inch square bumper storage. But it will not fit into a 4inch tube/round cylinder storage, at least without an easy modification. My storage is built into the front of the RV. It is a total of 26 inches deep, with a 24inch tube and a 2inch deep- 4.5 x 5.5inch wide square compartment under the door. In order to get this hose into it I simply cut off the four tabs on the sewer line to RV line connection and put this end in first. There are still enough of the tabs to grip the connector. The photo is after I cut them off. This connector has a black seal in it. I got lucky and noticed that it had fallen out. I put it back in and then left it connected to the sewer line for a while to press it into place better.

This sewer hose works great on my truck camper. Great quality great price.

Was a bit wary of buying this "Like new" but considering its intended use I decided, whatever. Guessing somebody got it and discovered it was too short. Fits fine, just used the existing elbow, and now we can flush the toilet again, so there's that. "Durability" is terrible on every single one of these I ever tried, so that's not a ding at this particular brand of this item. One derp with a weedwhacker and it's all over with every single one of them.

If you are going to camp in an RV, you need on of these. It works great, and does what it is designed to do.

I've had this hose for barely over a year, but only used it a half-dozen times. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment when it failed today at a campsite. It sprung a huge leak, at one of the pleats, leaving a smelly mess on the camp grounds, right under my rig. I can assure you that this hose has never been in extreme temperatures, it has never been abused, crushed or abraded in any way, and only used as intended. That said, I would expect higher standards from both Amazon and Camco. For a product like this, it's not just about product functionality, it's a matter of health and human safety.
