Kleenex Multicare Facial Tissues, 80 Count (Pack of 6)

While looking for regular Kleenex during the COVID 19 lockdown, I happened upon these Kleenex Multicare tissues. These tissues come in a smaller box than regular Kleenex tissues. Yet they’re several inches bigger than regular tissues, and thus have more surface area to use. They’re also more like the Kleenex we loved that we bought in New Zealand: sturdy, doesn’t fall apart.Our regular Kleenex got softer and softer over the years to the point where it wrinkles, tears and disintegrates easily. One regular Kleenex was good for a partial nose blowing. I don’t blow my nose often, and my husband might blow his nose several times daily. Yet regular Kleenex doesn’t last long in my household. Also, regular Kleenex, when pulled a few times from the box —especially placed on its side on a bathroom shelf— leaves a fair amount of white Kleenex particles on the shelf. After a several Kleenex are pulled, the white particle residue looks like dust on the shelf, in a small pile immediately in front of the Kleenex box.This tissue leaves no white particle residue. It does not wrinkle, does not tear, nor disintegrate easily. It’s soft enough to not hurt my sensitive nasal cavities, and it stands up to multiple uses. We love it.

I ordered these with other products so the box came within another box. In other words, there was no denting or crushing. So I can’t speak to that topic if they were to arrive separately in only one box. That being said, I have had them for two days and I like them. Each square box size is approximately 6x6,26x2.4 and the tissues are large. The box doesn’t take up as much space tableside, and the tissues are compressed inside the box. Although they cost a little more, they are versatile in that they could be used as a napkin or small placemat.I wish the company would make a size that is 1 inch narrower to fit in my car console. I am suffering from a sinus infection right now so I appreciate the larger size tissue. They may be a slight bit less soft than regular Kleenex tissues, but they are still soft enough, not scratchy like cheap brands. They do not irritate my nose at all. This product is too rough for facial use but perfect for small wet clean-up jobs such as wiping the inside of the dishwasher door of drips and cleaning the rim of the jelly jar to remove stickiness. It's easier to handle for certain jobs than paper toweling and more economical too. I first ordered this when the grocery stores had shortages of paper products, thinking I was getting regular Kleenex. At first I wondered why it it's labeled as bein for professional offices, then I realized that the professional's clients or patients might need a tissue but would never "accidently" take (read steal) the whole box, because of it's rough texture. My mistaken order turned out to be a product I will continue to order from now on.

I very well may have mis-read the item on 3/17/20 when I clicked on it since I did have to click on a lot of nose tissue links only to find out they were out of stock. However, I thought I was ordering regular-sized Kleenex tissue when I ordered. Imagine. my surprise when I discovered the tissues I receive were the special LARGE sized tissues, which do not interest or appeal to me in any way. Unless they are big enough to wear as a bib when I eat on the couch? Just have to be super-super-super careful and make sure I'm ordering what I want.

I bought these to toss into my car. They're a bit big for the center console or the glovebox, but they work fine in the door pocket. However, I didn't figure out their true use until I had a bad head cold. I ran out of normal Kleenex in the room I was in, and grabbed one of these boxes. These aren't quite as cushy as the Ultra Soft Kleenex I usually have around the house, but each one is big enough to blow your nose, collect everything, wipe a bit, and keep your hands clean! It does the work of two normal Kleenex! I'm a bit freaked out by bodily fluids, so these are a godsend! As you can see from the pictures, these are quite a bit bigger than normal Kleenex (both shown for comparison). Most people seem to fold over a Kleenex before using it, so I also showed each folded in half.

We all know what most people use a "Facial" tissue for....and these are BIG and sturdy. Not the type where one little snort and you need a 2nd one. In fact, unless you are sick with a virus or something, just regular use these are strong enough to tuck in a pocket and use again. Almost like a disposable handkerchief versus the thin flimsy national brand boxes that most people buy. They are a little more expensive than the thin ones, but I think well worth it if you are prone to a runny nose. This was probably my 6th case we have ordered over the past couple of years. 6 boxes per case.

These are big and last through lots of nose blowing, kind of like handkerchiefs do. When I have a cold, I can go through 1/2 a box of tissues in a day. These are sturdy and one of them is the equivalent, in my opinion, of 8 or 9 regular tissues. They are a little pricey. I wish they were cheaper.

In the great Kleenex shortage of 2020, I found these and ordered them. The price is hopefully much higher than it should be for what you get. These boxes are much smaller than I imagined. Comparable to the Kleenex cubes not the rectangle size boxes. The tissue itself is bigger and thicker than a regular tissue but less soft than the napkins I had purchased. Works in a pinch. Not sure I'd buy them again.

Certainly better than standard size for quality, convenience and 'big' blows.
