Phoenix Full Size Futon Couch with Espresso Finish with Suede Black Mattress Included - Wooden Frame - Solid Hardwood Construction

Great futon, i wanted something I knew would last, and that came with everything. Not just a frame, with no mattress or vice versa. The product was set to arrive today, I received it a day early, yesterday afternoon to be exact, so kudos for fast delivery. This one is brand new and you can still smell the fresh stain on the wood itself. Which means it hasn't been sitting collecting dust in a warehouse for months. Which is great.Putting it together like most products of this size, is/was a pain. I recommend anyone putting it together, not to go by the piece numbers, simply go by the colored dots that are on the wooden pieces. We figured that out after spending to much time, trying to hard to get the pieces matched up. Haven't put in the drawers yet but I'm sure it'll be great.The comfort is second to none, and I've slept on many beds, couches, futons, and this is by far the most comfortable I've slept (or sat on) yet. Like typical wooden products it does creak a bit, but not annoyingly so. Also it has almost no give with the super strong springs inside the mattress. It's like laying on a nice pocket of air. Even when folded in the couch sitting position. Also it's very easy on the eyes and goes great in my retro apartment. If it falls apart or I start having nightmares about being attacked by Bears I'll update my review. Good price, good quality, great comfort. Enough said. ;o)

Assembly was pretty straight forward. One issue I had was some of the holes might have been slightly off and tightening the bolts took some effort. Instructions are clear and the videos posted online can also be a good reference.The Mattress is good. Sitting on it is comfortable but it did take some effort to have the hinge start to work.The frame feels solid once its all together.The drawers work on carpet as well as hard floor. The do not have slides built into the frame and so they just sit on the floor. Not much of an issue but I was hoping for maybe some slide built into the futon to make it one whole unit.I did have one issue with it arriving with some damage. I emailed the manufacturer and they sent replacement parts fast. SO if you do run into any issues they will help.

Very nice futon. Would recommend. However a couple of items of improvement. I do not like the fact that the instructions is just an online instructional video. Keep having to stop/start rewind and orientation of compoent s not always obvious. Suggest link to PDF also so customers can read at own pace or even print off. The mattress is thick and heavy but slips down the frame. Suggest some way of retaining it in place. Will buy again but currently looking for suggestions to fix mattresses slipping

Bought the Queen for my son for his one br apartment. He needed a second spare bed for company and what a WONDERFUL choice! Sturdy, COMFORTABLE!! Now he has moved it into HIS ROOM!!! and wants another!! He will have to wait until next year!! It is BIGGer than we expected but it is a queen bed with unfolded. and the drawers are a wonderful touch. The only drawback is the drawers just free float on the carpet and do not have a back cover on the back of the piece of the couch. How we have it you can see the back and it looks a bit strange. Maybe a back board piece so their pets don't get under it and to make the shelves not look separate?

This has been one of the most comfortable futons I've slept on. Assembly wasn't super hard but I did need help.The biggest issue I had with this futon is the main support beam in the front broke after 3-4. I am well under the max weight limit (even combined with my girlfriend when she stays over). The futon still seems to function in both a bed or couch position but it definitely leans down and is a bit of an eyesore.

I really enjoy my new futon! it dosent look or feel like a cheap futon, looks much more expensive than it actually was, solid wood construction and the mattress is comfortable and it works well with my small livingroom! quality materials! I can see this lasting me many years to come. It really wasn't difficult to put together either!*difficult to recline and even more difficult to sit back upright, bring a friend to help you put it up and down the first few times you will need one!*

Very nice! Husband got it for his office and was scared that it would take up a lot of space because the room is small but it’s perfect. The quality is really good. It’s nice and heavy and does require two people to adjust it. The futon mattress is actually pretty comfortable and it did have a smell to it when we first set it up but went away after a week.

I really like the futon, the only downside is that it does make quite a bit of noise and feels like it moves quite a bit too. I am planning on adding some aluminum sheets along the long pieces that connect to the arm rests, to add a little bit more of sturdiness. Nevertheless, the mattress does not really slip like some people, but you have to pull it out of the frame every once in a while since whenever I take a seat, I push it in a little bit.
