Reeves Mini Easel 5 Inch Natural Wood

Do not order, this is for one easel, you can order a whole set for the price of this one! I found a set for about the same cost of this one, it would have been $2.95 to return, so lesson learned.

We purchesed these to be part of the table center piece of a Baby Shower for twin girls. We placed small pictures of other twins and it fit perfectly for the table. The price was reasonable and quality was there. I didn't feel like I had bought something cheap and easly broken.

Received yesterday, It is PERFECT. I purchased it to hold a small chalkboard incl w/a greeting card I found for my mom after much searching for just the right one to commemorate her hope to be last big move to an assisted living facility. It encourages her to write motivational statements on the board with a short chalk pencil. So, then I had to figure out how she would display it where she could manage taking it up and down if it were on the wall. I was stumped till I came up with the easel idea. The easel is tight in setting it's position, holds the position well, I have no doubt it will keep it's place and hold the chalkboard well.Filled 6 little pages of short inspirational quotes and I also found extra chalk pencils on the internet! Ain't online shopping grand!

This item is worth a dollar or two, but know what you are getting into, this is solely decorative and will not bear the weight of a standard frame with glass. It will work for some purposes, but know what your needs are, it is much flimsier than it looks!

I used this easel to display a very small plate. Because of the edges on the plate, it would not stay on the easel. I put a couple of small nails in, and the plate now stays in place. The easel is perfect for flat objects. Plates, not without modifications. I’m very happy with the easel. It’s the perfect size for the little plate!!

This is actually a pretty great little easel but I had to modify it to use it with the art piece I had. I used a wood carving tool to create a dip in the horizontal bar so my little canvas wouldn't just slip right off the front.

If your looking to a tiny easel this is it! The name does say mini but wow is it small. It doesn't even hold a standard 4x6 picture.

I ordered 10 of these cute little easels and was pleased at how well they are constructed. I love the little wood peg at the top securing the three pieces of wood. I have two other small easels, a tiny bit larger, which have a small nail but they're not easy to open. I have several miniature paintings of various sizes that I've been working on and they fit nicely but unlike my other two easels, these don't have anything to prevent the paintings from slipping off the front of the little ledge. I decided to glue some square wooden toothpicks, tips removed, and they work perfectly. They're almost the same color as the easels which are a bit lighter than pictured.
