This phone system is excellent for my small home based business! This is my second model and now I am going on my second set of handsets. I have used these systems for the last 14 years. I have had the current set for over 6 years and my main handset's headphone jack gave out. This system has everything I need to handle my business. It handles 4 lines, and it even allows music to your customers while they are on hold, a built in answering system with multiple mailboxes, and cordless handsets with a plug in for a headset for handsfree and mobility while you are talking. This system has everything I need at a reasonable price for my business! Also, I received my new handsets in 3 days! Wow! Fast!

Panasonic KX-TG4500B 5.8 GHz Expandable 4-Line Multi-Handset Cordless System with Caller ID and Answering System this is the latest in over 15 years of panasonic multi-line phone systems in my 3 stores plus my home the single master and 4 line remotes are great you can answer or call on any of the 4 lines and be even 100ft. away the are very durable we get about 6 to 8 years out of the system in a rough service enviroment .each replacement is better than before. And Amazon saved me over $ 225.oo from so caled phone discounters we use all 8 remotes they take a licking and keep working

Have used this with the base station. Really like it over the RCA or Motorola products. Amazon delivered - usual service.We have 6 handsets.There have been some complaints about changes to the product. We have found it to work fine. The transfer of calls is OK. Some things need to be gotten used to. All true.But as a pure phone, the sound is very clear for a cordless and this is KEY>Bottom line: works as a 4-line cordless and does that job extremely well.

The item does exactly what we needed.. It was really difficult to find a handset and phone system that has 4 lines, answering machine & caller id.. My only issue is that people have a hard time hearing me sometimes or I can hear a co-worker dial from the base. Otherwise, pretty happy!

I have owned this phone for my small business for many years. I have a small 2 doctor optometric practice with 3 phone lines and this phone serves all my purposes. I bought the additional handset to give us one more portable option when in different parts of the office. The clarity is great and has always worked perfect for us. We do not use many of the advanced features, mainly just juggling between the 3 phones lines.

A reasonably good quality phone for the money ($87). The phone requires the master control base station to function which employs a small battery back-up. Nice emergency preparedness touch. You will not loose telephone service when you loose electricity. The small, Automated Attendant feature is wonderful if you need one.
