I purchased this to replace a rope that broke on me. The reason I choose this is the ball bearings in the handles. It makes a difference. Easy and smooth to use. It seems very durable and the handles are easy to grip. I did not need to cut to size, but there are directions if that is something you need to do.

I bought this jump rope to use while training 10+ hours per week at a boxing gym for 6 months while i dropped from say 185 to 165 lbs, and got my money's worth out of it before it broke. When I landed on the rope, the rope was infrequently pulled out of the handles. I was able to repair the jump rope once or twice, but it was not worth the effort to repair it another time. All that being said given the low cost, I got my money's worth out of the jump rope. The jump rope would probably be good for children, irregular users, or perhaps people that are light weight. If a regular user or gym looking for a high quality jump rope that will last, you may want something more durable.
