Used these to hold a Weboost antenna up. Works excellent! Great hold. The magnets are encased in soft plastic to avoid scratches in the paint.

The lights from Nilite are so so. They are cheap fixtures, I decided not to explore after receiving used 20 Inch light from them. I will look for perhaps more quality brand in the $100 - $200 range. The magnets and bravket (how can you go wrong) are good and solid. But the metric based thread limits their cross plstform use for mt photo gear. In any case, Ive only used them in doors, and cant speak to their ability not to rudt or corrode from outdoor exposure. At the end of the day, this product will perform as expected, especially with two magnet based system.

Work great so far, very sturdy and strong magnets. They fit my 20 inch light bar very nice. It's easy to set up and mount to the car since all it is is magnets and a couple screws to hold in the mounts to the magnets. They could fit better on my hood if they could slant a tiny bit but that'd be awful to make. All in all, good set of mounts

strong powerful large magnets. quality seems pretty good. I have my 5inch auxbeam spot light mounted to them and it sitting on top of my trailer. there not going anywhere. to remove it you would actually have to use a bit of force. serves my purpose perfectly.... update. I bought 2 more for my other ditch lights that will be mounted on my trailer. I like the option to be able to adjust as needed than a permanent setup

I use these to hold lights onto steal beams in my office and they’re plenty strong. Needs some oomph to pull off.

I mounted flood lights on these "Shimeyao 2 Pcs Magnetic Base Light Bar Mounts". Then I made a wiring harness using left-over trailer wiring from Harbor Freight and attached a cigarette lighter plug to the wiring harness. That way I can easily transfer the lights between various vehicles and equipment, such as my backhoe, when needed. The magnets are more than strong enough to secure the lights to my equipment or to a car or truck without worry. I recommend these mounts

Will not stick to Hood, roof or even the side of my 2020 F150 Ford. Very odd. Guess Ford makes cheaper and cheaper trucks now. It did stick to my freezer lid and barn door; very strong and would work great. Mounted up to my light bar well, a bit bulky but I wasn't going for looks, I want it to stay in place while I drive 75+ MPH. Give it a shot, it may work for you, it did not for me.
