Ledgebay Paint by Numbers Kit for Adults Extra Paint, Framed and Unframed

First one sent was tagged wrong, and was returned. Correct item was shipped, everything perfect.

At first I thought I made a mistake. I even returned the first set. Then this set came labeled, as you can see in the first photo. The second photo shows you the colours in the new set . The third is a photo of the paints that came with my paint by numbers kit. Both my original kit and the new paints are labeled " Colourful House Near The Lake." So, here goes: I love this brand. I've been using them for years. Their stretched canvases are high quality. The paints usually smooth and consistent. The only constant complaint I've had has been with the cheap paint brushes, but I simply use my own. However, when you are going to offer a replacement, it needs to be a viable replacement. If you're going to change the colours, then offer both in the replacements. I'm stuck trying to mix my own to finish this painting. Not helpful.

I liked the fact they were not dried up like the ones in the paint by number sets

I received the “Road Home” set with gummy congealing paints in several colors and one color dried up solid. I did my best with what I had, watering down some of the partially dried ones and substituted with paints from another kit because I really loved the design. About halfway through it was clear to me that the paint I had wasn’t going to be enough. It was then sold out on amazon and the Ledgebay website. I emailed the company explaining the problem and they told me I could purchase additional paint when it came back in stock about 10 days later. So I found it in stock here on amazon and paid $10 more even though the issue was really that adequate supplies weren’t given with the original kit. And lo and behold - the replacement paints I received that are supposedly for “The Road Home” are not at all the same. In my picture I posted, the original 18 colors are shown at the top, and the replacement colors are on the bottom. Though there are 27 pods of paint, there aren’t that many colors that overlap. The ones that are the same color are numbered differently. This is infuriating! I’ve spent so many hours painting this and it stinks to not have the ability to have quality paint or enough of it.

The overall product was fine, however I ran out of some paint colors as a few required several applications to achieve the desired results. I ordered a replacement set of paints. They were the wrong colors. The package was labeled correctly, Cosmos from the Garden, but the paints inside the sealed package did not remotely match the original colors. I reached out to customer service. After speaking to someone who seemed to understand my problem I was sent a new set, no cost. They were also the wrong colors. I set aside the painting. Months later I ordered another replacement set. They arrived today, wrong colors inside the correctly labeled package. Three times I received the wrong paints. The mistake is in the packaging not the product.

You'll definitely need Reaper Miniatures Paints Paint Flow Improver Additive RPR 09106 to use these very thick paints, but once they are thinned out you can get a great result. I brought out the sun in a couple of dark paintings and added texture to a high quality print I bought, and the result is great!

not expensive....but not worth it.....some of the paint was dried out in spite of being vacuum sealed (must have been bad when packaged)

Very challenging, took me 6 months to finish but loved the end result! I ended up having to buy an extra set of paints because the first set was not enough to finish or eventually ended up drying up. The canvas is good quality and the package comes with an extra page that show all the numbers just in case. I would say this one is not for beginners but if you’re looking for a challenge it was a lot of fun to see it come together!
