Mel Gibson stars as a one-man killing machine, a Los Angeles policeman who recently lost his wife and has been acting increasingly unstable.Danny Glover plays a by-the-book homicide detective with an impeccable record and a loving family. Now the two are stuck with each other as partners, investigating a suicide that leads to an international crime ring and ever-increasing danger in this blockbuster action thriller. Review: Lethal Weapon 4K is Stunning - I have always loved the Lethal Weapon movies that started with Lethal Weapon that also was one of the first cop buddy movies that really changed the industry. You have a great cast in Danny Glover and Mel Gibson, and Gary Busey, 3 of the main actors then add director Richard Donner and you have a great beginning. From the first scene where the character Amanda Hunsaker jumps to her death crashing onto the roof of a car parked below. I have always been very impressed with Donners opening like a fillm he did in 1980 named Inside Moves a forgotten gem of Donner with another great cast that has a very similar opening with a person jumping from a building to the roof of a car parked below. In both films the camera follows the actors fall until they smash onto the car while the sound is overwhelming in both. Weapon also looks more brilliant than ever and I prefer the directors cut that has so many scenes that improve the story through they add to the character development These scenes were in versions of DVDs but never released on blu ray. Lethal Weapon 4K version is amazing and I hope when the other three films are released of 4K include the directors cuts. Review: "I'm to old for this $#*!" - You can't go wrong with Lethal Weapon. One of the best and a good Christmas movie.

If you’re a fan of lethal weapon get this. The sound is amazing, everything had been remastered, plus the Eric Clapton riffs shine with this copy.

Enjoy Lethal Weapon it's a Classic movie from the 80s. The director cut give it a little edge to film. Definitely worth getting in 4K

Looks Amazing!
Everyone already knows the movie is great, but let me tell you, the 4K remaster was better than expected. I have many 4K titles of 80s & 90s movies in my collection and the common theme with most of these older films, is an overly grainy appearance. This is partially due to the original film, but there's also the quality of the transfer. Well, in this case, the transfer looks beautiful. For a movie filmed in 1986, it looks amazing. highly recommended!

Awesome Movie
Sharp image and finally seeing controversial scenes added back in! What is going on now was actually happening in the 80's!! Yikes!

Great 4k transfer of a great film.
Wonderful treatment of a classic film. Would love to see more older movies get this type of 4k release treatment. Added scenes should have been in the original and I suspect were cut to make it more of a tv length.
