Ok. Look. Here is the deal. I am replacing the pentair lights that are complete junk and expensive junk. They are not a perfect replacement but for the price it does what I need. The feed wires are pretty light bit seem to enough. They “fit” in the light case but be careful not to push them I too far. They do not screw in they just kinda snap in using the tabs. They work great. So far Jo problems. I am using my existing pentair controller. Just tied into the existing wires from the old pentair light. I did the best I could to make sure my connections will stay dry but we will see how the connections hold up. The hardest part was I needed to extend the existing wires to give me enough room to work on it. If I were to do it again I would just replace the whole wire from the controller to the light fixture. This would save a ton of tom and headache.

Our Hayward $800 light went out again (gone through 2 haywards in 3 years)! I bought this based on reviews and gave it a try. This is an EXCELLENT replacement light - I spliced the wires into the existing Hayward 100 ft cord and it works perfectly! Super easy to install - I used waterproof heat shrink connectors and waterproof heat shrink sleeves to ensure the splice was completely sealed and water proof. Beautiful color and nice and bright at a great price.

Easy to install. Used wire from old Hayward 1.5” lights that went bad. Had to splice together and waterproof connections. Hayward replacement light was $300 each. These were much cheaper and fit in Existing holes perfectly. So far so good. Wish they came with longer wires.

The lights fit in the Globerite receptacle, pentair wanted $500 a light to replace, I reused the wires from the existing ones. spliced them with waterproof splices and covered with flexseal tape. I replaced the pentair color switcher with wifi smart switch and I can now turn my pool lights on from my phone, or on a nightly schedule. If your tired of shelling out thousands on pentair lights that only last a year, replace with these! Update: unfortunately these lights only lasted about 10 months and all three stopped working. It looks like they can't handle salt water very well as there was a lot of electrolysis build up on the housing and water inside the LED fixture. I'll probably just swap them out with another set given the low cost, but it's a bummer that they didn't last.

This replaced a Pentair LED pool light that cost near $500 (and I find out from researching routinely fails after a year). This one is not quite as bright and only one color (blue) but I’d take it over the expensive Pentair any day (if it proves to be reliable). It does have a bit of a short cable and the plug is unlikely to be compatible with most existing lights but remember, you’re working with low voltage cable/transformer so it’s as easy as cutting off the existing light and tying this in regardless of polarity.

Last year we joined the stock tank pool craze and haven’t looked back. I’ve been improving it steadily, we added a filter system and chlorinated the pool, I added a rubber spray in coating when the tank started to rust and now I’m adding a light. This light seemed a bit pricey but I’m happy with it, it’s built really well. I order a Hero-LED power supply to power this led. Everything went together well with the help of some shrink tubing, soldering iron, some rubber o rings, silicon sealant and a pipe clamp. its southern engineering at it finest, but it works and doesn't leak around the light. The pictures bellow are my new plastic stock tank pool. If making a stock tank pool, go with plastic. Pool chemicals cause the metal tanks to rust and using a spray in coating won’t stop the rust... trust me I tried. This light makes the plastic tanks glow at nigh which is cool.

I am very satisfied with this product. I replaced the first 2 for $65 lights versus the $600 Pentair third which lasts about 3 seasons of 4 months.

They work well but the back clips seem to rot quite quickly when underwater, I think the backs are aluminum as they get like aluminum rust basically a white dust... when this happens the steel clips break off.

I replaced my Hayward colorlogic for this. Almost the same light output, although it can’t change color. Fits 1.5in tubes easily. As many mentionned, the cord is a little short, had to extend it to connect where I needed. Would definitely buy again!

Product was shipped and delivered in timely fashion. Light fits snuggly into piping the size of water return valves of a pool. Not water tight however. Power line is exceptionnally short (about 12''- I recommend buying the extension that is sold seperately. Otherwise, you will need to make a water tight electrical junction to reach the power supply) Light is perfect for an inground pool. Adequately lights our 12x27 inground pool. Very good buy. Would but again

Use these lights to replace my Hayward lights for inground pool fit and work perfectly save myself $1300
