Customer service replace lighbulb.
This is a very nice set of umbrella lights photography and flash umbrella studio light kit. The kit comes with 3 stands ,(two of the stands can be very tall, and one is short), three 45W 5500K lightbulbs, two white umbrellas and a carrying bag. Upon open it, the first thing I noticed how light the kit is. It’s super portable. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble the whole set. The umbrella/light heads can be adjusted up and down. The build quality is very good within this price range. I set up the lights and tested few shots .I don’t see the flash shadow behind the object in my shots as my previouscamera flash only shots. Actually, one of the lights was broken upon arrival. I contacted the seller. The seller responded in a timely manor and sent me a free replacement lightbulb right away. I am very happy with umbrella lights photography and flash umbrella kit. I highly recommend it for home studios.

Excellent customer service and great beginner lighting set up
I live in a bottom corner apartment that faces a lot of trees, I basically get no natural light. I make a living selling vintage clothes on Etsy and I am SO tired of having to rig up make-shift lighting that's never good enough or trying to brighten photos in Photoshop without altering them to the point of misrepresenting colors, etc. so, I decided to break down and buy a lighting kit. After hours of pouring over reviews and ratings, I settled on this kit above. Seemed like it would meet my needs without breaking the bank. The kit arrived very well packed! Everything, except the umbrellas, was secured in its own boxes. Nothing was cosmetically damaged so, I moved onto assembling the pieces and testing each item to make sure it all worked correctly. All was fine except for one lighting unit which immediately blew the bulb when I turned it on. Things like this happen, I personally don't feel like it was any terrible fault of the people at ESDDI or anything. I have shipped a computer to a friend and by the time it got there the memory had somehow come loose and was rattling around inside the case, unforeseen stuff happens sometimes, what can you do?I contacted Amazon, because I needed to two functioning lights and was not really going to be able to send the entire thing back and wait for a replacement. They put me in touch with ESDDI directly and they immediately rectified the situation beyond what I would have expected out of them. Staff was friendly and prompt in dealing with my issue. As for the kit itself, I find that it meets all of my needs. I'm an amateur in photography and can't speak to its appropriateness for video filming, but it gives off a very bright clean light that eliminates the orange/yellow/pink tint that indoor lighting gives to my product photos. No more gritty pictures and the umbrellas soften the light enough to not make the photos too harsh or glared out. The stands have been very sturdy, even with my dogs and cats bumping into/rubbing on them.

Not Bright Enough | Will Need Tripod | Will Need Higher ISO | Perhaps Aperture Opened All The Way Up
Hello all. The 45 Watt CFLs that come with it will not replace a speed light or strobe. Sounds obvious, but I didn't know that. Now I do. Had to send back. If you are doing product photography and are working with a very controlled environment and DEFINITELY have your camera on a tripod and of course are using 2 second timer or remote trigger to avoid camera shake, this kit will work for you. No hand held shots with this unless you have aperture wide open and iso bumped up a bit. But the trade off is digital noise. That's one of the biggest reasons for a light source, whether it's a speed light or a continuous light like this kit gives you. So if you are taking pics of small items to sale on Ebay, Amazon, etc, and you have the aforementioned tripod, so you don't have to go over 400 iso or loose sharpness because of having the lens wide open, then this is a good purchase, not a great one, but a good one. Very budget friendly. I hope my review was fair. Look elsewhere for brighter continuous light set ups. Also, a note on the tripods. They work, but they are twist turn, rather than a simple bracket to pull open and shut to lengthen and shorten the tripod. Add to that the relative softness of the plastic and these tripods are just ok. They will hold up. Keep in mind how much you're paying for them. I'd say for the money that it's worth it, especially if you need three tripods as mentioned quickly.Hope this helps and wasn't opinionated but merely factual. Thank you.PS I gave it five stars because it does what it is intended to do perfectly. It's just not what I needed.

Surpassed my expectations at this price point.
Let me first start by saying I'm not a professional photographer. I use a Nikon D7000 with this setup to photograph my artwork and am getting the best results ever. I used to shoot my work in a small light tent kit, but now that I paint much larger works, needed a larger setup. Everything arrived in excellent condition, it was well packaged and nothing was broken, torn, or dented. It's fully adjustable and I am really, really pleased with this purchase. Am still learning how to capture subtle nuances with the textures in my paintings, but gone are the blown highlights and hot spots. Thanks for making an affordable kit available, that isn't "cheesy".

It's nice and light, easy to carry.
The kit comes with 3 45-watt fluorescent light bulbs, two tall and one small light stand, and 2 umbrellas. There are also 3 lightbulb sockets, and a big caseThis setup is perfect for one or two subjects, maybe not enough light for more than that. You can see that in the pictures. The pictures are cropped, 300 mm, f 5.6.Things I liked were the lightness of the stands. So you can take them anywhere, and they don't have a large footprint. I would like to try them with Speedlights...just add some weight to the bottom. The small light stand can be also used as a backlight or hairlight. And having 3 light sockets to play with is worth it in itself.I flipped the umbrellas around to get the most light on the subjects. They are best used as they are reflected onto the subjects.Keep the bulb packaging to avoid breaking them later. My suggestion:If you like to take pic of family, buy 2 sets.
