Q: This didn’t come with instructions to put it together. Is there a guide online?

Ours did come with instructions - well, diagrams, anyway. I bet the manufacturer will send them to you if they're not online.

Sorry, our cat tree doesn't sell the post separately.

Q: How heavy is the box?

Not sure of exact weight, but it is heavy.

Q: How do the fabric pads stay attached?

A few long strips of Velcro come inside the box. One side is sticky (to stick to the wood), and the other side is the rough side of Velcro (to secure to the bottom of the fabric pad). They do a great job of keeping the pads in place, and since they’re secured with Velcro you can pull off the pads at any time to throw them in the washing machine. Hope that helps!
