Very good quality and look very nice! Super easy to put on the wall and the sticky part actually sticks.

Our son is a gamer and a loud one at that. We determined that a majority of the sound was coming from the door of his bedroom. We though that by adding these stylish tiles to the back of his door it would deaden the sound, at least a little but it didn't do anything at all. Part of it was that I mis-read the size and thought that these were beefy 4" deep sound proofing tiles and not 0.4" thick. When it comes to sound proofing, thickness is king when you want to absorb the sound. They do look great and do match his room wall color so they are going to be up for awhile. These installed really easily and sticky really well so make sure that you have things plum and square before pressing them into place because once pressed down, they are not going anywhere!

30ish bucks for a few small - good looking panels. A switch up from the faux wood panels I have mostly everywhere else

It seems to be standard to overstate the thickness by 10%. These panels are no exception, at a little under .36” thick. In this case I suppose they can claim rounding… Also similar to most other crushed felt panels, they have a convenient sticky adhesive affixed to the back. Some people will have trouble getting them to stay up (usually on cement or cinder block walls) and other people will complain about how it ripped the paper right off their drywall when they went to remove them. That’s the way it goes. Pro tip: affix them to poster board and not only will you avoid these problems but you can also take them with you to the next place! Topnaca’s acoustical panels are a little different from their competitors, however They are about 17.3”x 11.8”, so not square. They have a flowing design on them instead of triangles or straight lines. This is so much more relaxing to me to be looking at.

These acoustic tiles are attractive and functional, will fit into most any room decor, and have moderate, though not outstanding, sound dampening characteristics. The adhesive backing adheres well but can be repositioned easily. Acoustic tiles that have an egg crate type ridged surface are going to be more effective at sound dampening but they will also be less esthetically attractive. In a recording studio environment or where someone needs maximum sound dampening I'd definitely go for the ridged surface type, but everyone's needs are different. I have these on a door to limit noise between two rooms and they do make some difference.
