I swore I would never be one of *those* people. But who can resist that face?!? The little guy wants to walk with me and the big dog, but his little legs get so tired. And then the pathetic whimpering when I would have to leave him at home when I went on hikes because he couldn't handle the high desert terrain... I usually buy size small clothes and harnesses for Cocoa Puff, but the sizing for this product indicated I would need a large and it fits the 10 Pound Terror perfectly. It seems well-made and solid, so I have high expectations for the durability. The front pocket is convenient for carrying doody baggies for both dogs. The one negative I have up front is that the straps aren't very ergonomic, which might make them uncomfortable on long walks. However, I do like that they are fully adjustable and you can wear them like a backpack or criss-cross them. Thw connector strap guarantees it will stay on when you lean forward, too. And, as a bonus, I quickly discovered that he can walk around in it, so I can use it almost as a harness until I need to pick him up. He really seemed calm and comfortable while using it today... I fully expect to make a lot of use of this product as the days go by!

We use this carrier when traveling. My 4.5 lb. dog gets excited when he sees it! This carrier has been super helpful in keeping my dog in one place while getting through airport security. There are many areas on the carrier that can be adjusted for comfort for both you and the dog. Our favorite ways to wear this are: 1) close to the body and high on the chest, as my dog loves to smell every morsel of food that goes near my mouth; 2) one side loosened - we wear the carrier this way while on the bus or after dog gets tired. Wearing this way allows you to position the dog on his side, which is how my dog prefers to be held. We love this flexibility in wearing the carrier. I tend to carry my dog in this for a maximum of 2 hours at a time. Note: As mentioned, my dog weighs only 4.5 pounds. Because he is so light of frame, I feel comfortable transporting him in this carrier. It is his preferred mode of transportation. However, I would hesitate to use this carrier for a dog more than 8 pounds. Ergonomically, it is not ideal for dogs to be in an upright position, especially if they have a long back. I have also seen pictures of carriers like this irritating dogs' legs when used for an extended period of time. While I have not experienced this, it is on my mind when we travel and I make sure to give my dog plenty of breaks from the carrier, and it's important for any pet owner to monitor their pet's comfort. Before taking my dog on a long journey, we tested the carrier out several times for various lengths of wear, in multiple weather conditions, and at different times of the day to test my pet's response and comfort in the carrier.

The carrier is sufficient and cute. My dog fits securely inside of it. I wish the straps could be tightened a little more so that she would be higher up on my chest. All I wonder is if the material hurts her bottom legs since all the weight is being pushed down but she didn't seem to be in pain or have any marks. Make sure to check the sizes and measure your pet, I ordered a small first and had to re order a medium and she is an 8 lb Maltese and wears a small in everything else. I tested it out by taking her to Walmart and I got a ton of compliments, and it was easy for me to do my shopping. I pushed a cart and was able to do self checkout all with her in the carrier. I highly recommend this if you enjoy taking your dog everywhere like I do :)

This product is fantastic. My pup Brutus and I are the envy of the entire metro park area. People halt traffic to catch a glimpse of this goofy owner and his adorable tea-cup yorkie strutting down the sidewalk. The city is considering an honorary parade just for me and my pup because of this carrier! I'm a single male and this had the exact desired effect I was looking for, beautiful women stop dead in their tracks to witness the glory of my pup in this handsome carrier. 5/5 would buy a hundred times over. In all seriousness, it fits well and the straps are functional but it isn't exactly a high-end bag so prepare for mild discomfort after about 30 minutes. It seems to be made well enough but definitely needs to be used with care as it has mediocre durability (as is apparent when you first feel it and see the materials are thin/minimal). That said my pup loves it and so do I. All who witness this majestic answer to man's pet carrying problems are charmed and impressed. Do yourself a favor and GET THIS CARRIER!!!

I bought this carrier mainly bc it’s clear see thru. My kittens r both black and their color makes it hard to check on them with a quick look inside a regular carrier when taking them to or from a vet bc they blend in with shadows. With this carrier i can easily see how they’re doing in the pet carrier while I’m driving just by glancing over at them. When i received the pet carrier the clear plastic of it arrived already scratched in several places despite it being in a plastic bag. One of the zipper pulls broke off about 2 weeks later so i’ve had to attached a piece of cord to use as a zipper pull. I leave it assembled at all times and then just unzip or zip one of the side doors as needed but it does not zip close smooth and easy. I was worried about the bottom piece being too filmsy to support pet weight without bowing but far the bottom of it seemed pretty sturdy. My pets r 2 young kittens that just turned 3 months old so they don’t weigh much tho. I don’t know how well it would hold the weight of a full grown or large cat. I like how the whole pet carrier can b folded down to reduce how much space it takes up when stored away. I don’t bother with folding it down yet bc i have vet appointment somewhat often with my kittens but when they get older and don’t have vet appts so often I’ll b able to fold it down in my closet without it using a lot of space. Haven’t had any problems with the handle on top and sholder straps. The carrier is a bit longer than i expected which works good so i can fit both my kittens in it at same time. I wish the breathing holes on the sides of the carrier were about 2” higher tho. They r alright where they r but if u put a really thick blanket or pad in the cat carrier then sometimes they get covered up partially. Not a major problem since the doors of the pet carrier r mesh but the more air flow by moving the breathing holes up would b better. Would i recommend this pet carrier to someone? Yes. Would i buy it again? Yes. It’s not an awesome carrier but it gets the job done and does what i need it to do while being inexpensive and holding up well enough.

We recently bought this to take our 23 pound schnoodle on a hiking trip. The trip got cancelled, but boy am I happy to have purchased this carrier. While running playfully around the house, the little guy snagged one of his claws on the carpeting and pulled it right out. We can only imagine how painful that was; he obviously wasn't walking anywhere for a few days. I needed a way to carry him without putting pressure on the injured paw, and this carrier did the trick with out any trauma...just position him so all 4 paws are in the holes, flip the other part of the carrier over his tail, zip each side and snap, and you're ready to go! What surprised me was that he did seem to mind it at all...I took it off at the vet's office and he acted like he'd done this for years when it came time to put it back on. True, it couldn't be used to take him out to pee, but it he's used to going everywhere with us, and he readily fell asleep in it while he waited in the car (air conditioning on)--it's that comfortable. I think the 'swaddling effect of the carrier actually made him feel more secure, rather like a Thundershirt. I can't speak to how durable it will be, but I'm impressed with the overall quality of the carrier and highly recommend it.

This is super cute! I've already gotten so many compliments on it... it's very functional especially if you have a little dog who doesn't like to be on a leash or is maybe afraid of people and wants you to carry him all the time... or even a older dog who can't go for long walks but still enjoys company and the outdoors. I bought this for our poo mix... he's only about 10 pounds but he's kind of long so I went with the extra large. It fits him really well. Definitely measure and weigh your dog I think you will get a better fit that way we did all those things and I still went with something that was a little longer... I'm about 5" 4 + 135 lbs. I do have to crisscross the straps in the back for a very secure fit but I would do that with any product to be honest and I'm glad that I can crisscross the straps because I have the kind of shoulders that things tend to slip off of. My little rescue is okay on a leash in the backyard but is insanely afraid of strangers and does not like to be left at home so this was the perfect solution. We live in a very hot climate and even on a very warm days he seems very comfortable and secure in it. I don't think it would be appropriate for hour long hikes in the desert or difficult terrain or anything... after a couple hours at an art show I started to fatigue so I think this product is suited more for strolls around the neighborhood, your local grocery store if allowable, running errands a couple hours worth on evening ground. Overall we love it it's super cute it gets the job done and I think it would look good by and he seems comfortable and it's better than being at home alone.

This is perfect for my 14 year old Chihuahua who has arthritis in his back legs. We like to travel, and he isn't able to keep up as well as he used to. This is absolutely fantastic for us so I can take him with me and not have to worry about carrying him the entire time. He seems very comfortable and it is very easy to get him in and out of it. The back straps are pretty long for a smaller person. I have to wear it crisscrossed in the back so it doesn't fall off of me. I wish the straps adjusted a little more than what they do (which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5). Overall this product is well made. All the seams are sturdy and the zipper/velcro work fine. The fabric is very nice as well. I bought a small for my 8lb Chihuahua and it fits him perfectly!

Our dog loves it, we put him in it when we go cycling. We followed the instructions to measure him and the size we got is perfect.

It says medium but doesnt even fit for a small doggie
