Great quality for the price, however, the handle seems to be some sort of print, and not actual rosewood. I was somewhat skeptical upon purchase due to the CITES restrictions recently put into place regarding the exportation of rosewood. Unfortunately my skepticism ran true on the matter, as far as I can tell, at least. Nonetheless, this is a solid knife at the price point, and the handles will fool some from a fair distance.

The quality of this knife is amazing for its low price. The wood-to-metal fit is excellent, the blade is sharp, and the knife looks well-suited for hard use.

Excellent knife for the money, but the reason for the low rating is that the handle is not wood. Seems to be aluminum with a wood grain appearance.
