The device has just enough DSP hardware to get a variety of tones. The clean amplifier models sound fine but the high gain amplifier models lack a bit of detail. The built-in tuner is also not very accurate but good enough. There is built-in metronome and USB audio interface functionality too. There is an option to load up to five NAM captures (full rigs only) and while these may end up sounding better than the built-in models, it should be noted that this device (as well as other devices from Hotone like the Valeton GP5) is not a true NAM modeler and unlike what NAM requires, this device is limited to 44.1kHz sample rates. The software is barely usable for profile management but just good enough for updating firmware. The smartphone app is far more functional but can be considered to be a privacy nightmare in terms of how it is distributed and the permissions it requires. Overall, this is an extremely versatile device that offers everything that is required for practicing quietly. I would say that it fares better than most of the beginner-focused 10-15W practice amplifiers. The shell is quite sturdy despite being all-plastic. The knob and buttons are also decent and responsive. At the sale price of around 6.5k, one cannot go wrong with this.

I usually don't write reviews unless I'm totally impressed or disappointed! This one's the former... Can't go wrong with this. It's one of the best Electric Guitar accessories one could have. There are ~50 options to choose, with several amps, IRs, effects to combine with. What I've noticed is, if you're using a strat guitar with SSS you might leave the input gain as is, but if you're using HSS or HH (Les Paul style guitar) reduce the input gain to ~ -11 to -15 db. And try adjusting with the volume/tone knobs for the desired output. It's versatile, and easy to carry everywhere. You could use a C data cable to record directly to your mobile device(if you're using iPhone with lightning cable port, you'll need a C to Lightning OTG converter). My practice sessions have only gotten better with this device. I don't know for how long this would last, but any electronic device is bound to fail at some point for various reasons. I hope this helps to those who are passionate about music but can't practice loud because it'll probably cause inconvenience to neighbours. Just go for it!😎🎸💯✨

It is a fantastic product, cant belive that this much capability exist at this price point. Very portable and easy to just plug and play. Pro: tons of effects and highly configurable, looper tuner, drums , midi support Nam support at this price is unbelievable. Blue tooth music streaming and very good mobile app. Cons are : no back button to navigate. 2 pedal Buttons are of good quality but often miss. cables to connect to speaker and guitar need to be bought seperately

This is a pocket rocket! I can't imagine the quality of sound patches in such a small device. This is just too good! Recommended. Nothing in such price comes with IR. The quality of IR is just supreme! Love it.

Great pocket bomb

This is a fabulous multi-effect unit for the price. Fitting in your hand it is the perfect tool for practicing. The range of presets is ample and nearly all of them are very useful . A wide variety of genres is catered for and a few of them are better than the presets on other, far more expensive, multi-effects pedals I own. You can also edit the presets and save your edits. Or make your own from scratch by adjusting a clean tone to your taste. It also has facilities that I am told are the latest in amp simulations. But that's beyond me as I am in the "Old Dog vs New Tricks" era of my life 😁 The only thing missing, for me, is an AUX input that would have allowed me to feed my backing tracks directly into the device without needing a PC. But if you connect it to a computer you can use that as your AUX input. That's what I do when I improvise to backing tracks on YouTube.

Certo non lo consiglio per suonare dal vivo, anche se sarebbe possibile, qui dipende da cosa si vuole come suono finale, io non amo i suoni digitali. Ma chi li usa lo troverà comodo, ti porti chitarra e scatoletta e vai nell'impianto. Ne ho comprato anche un'altro per mio nipote, quindi è uno strumento ottimo, soprattuto per chi studia o per chi come me prova senza dover attaccare ampli valvole in casa o non vuole disturbare usando le cuffie e potendolo fare agevolmente in qualsiasi luogo. Potreste divertirvi con gli amici collegandola alla vostra casa bluetooth in giro per la città. Insomma strumento davvero azzeccato.

Wrong version sent. Ordered the transparent white, received the purple one. As it's for a special occasion, I don't have time to return it. Good product it seems, but I can only hope my kid won't be disappointed.

Love this wee device, sound is really good, with firmware update it does midi via the usb, battery life is great, small sound is good , NAM support and works with the free NAMs, presets are really good, and they are easily modified, works will with headphones too, so you could basically have this mounted on your belt with belt clip, a wee short cable to the guitar, and a pair of headphones. Does not come with a usb c cable, don't know why, but you need one for power or charging, or using as an audio interface. Can connect via Bluetooth to your phone, phone app is good, and you will need to use Bluetooth if wou want to use the full set of drums rather than just the metronomes. Also allows you to play along with music from phone and properly mixes it. The website has all the firmware updates, software, and drivers for Mac and windows, and the unit also can be used for recording to the pc in DAW or whatever you want. Not really played with the looper that much, but it works, it's only 10 seconds but it you can overdub and pause and restart easily enough. Phone app makes life so much easier when using this. Hold all three buttons to put into firmware update mode of for copying NAM files, can hold 5 NAMs at a time. Loads of good videos on YouTube for demos, and reviews, the best 40 quid I've spent on my guitar for a while, might buy some more for gifts for other people. Buttons are nice and solid so you could use your feet, and belt clip is detachable so you don't scratch wooden flooring. Strong, well made, long battery life, great device.

Pour le prix auquel il est, c'est tout simplement étonnant d'avoir autant de fonctionnalités. Je cherchais à la base une pédale de préampli avec une prise casque pour pouvoir jouer dans être tributaire d'un ampli volumineux et pas très convaincant à faible volume. Le tout à prix très contenu évidemment. Mission largement accomplie pour le pocket master, qui fait en plus multi effets, accordeur, looper et interface audio pour le brancher à un DAW par exemple. C'est inespéré à ce prix. Tout est parfait vu l'utilisation que j'en ai, à tel point que je suis passé de 8 pédales à... Deux ! Il fonctionne aussi sur batterie. Parmi les multiples effets et amplifications disponibles, il accepte aussi les profils NAM avec toutefois une légère dégradation du son, mais ça reste tout à fait jouable et pour le prix, rien à redire. Seul reproche lié à l'utilisation que j'en ai : deux reverbs parmi celles proposées ne sont pas vraiment exploitables, elles se contentent de produire un sorte de souffle pas très convaincant. Mais pour le reste, c'est totalement une bonne affaire vu le prix, il m'est vite devenu indispensable.
